Attack Mode (Patreon)

I had WAY too much fun with this one!!! 

I tried some new shading and highlighting techniques that I feel compliment my usual style more. I really enjoyed it!

After I finished the original full bodied version (which is what I intended the finished piece to be), I made a transparent version without the background to do my little shadow trick. After fussing for like a good 45 minutes trying to finalize the background, I went back to the transparent version and thought, "hmm, I wonder what it would look like if she just took up the WHOLE canvas...woah!"  "That's it!!"

I figured out what was bugging me about the original version; there was too much negative space and i didn't know what to do with it. 

I included he full bodied version so you guys can see where it started. ^^
