Vote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely Wednesday and I'll choose the TOP 2 to react to next week on Wednesday and Friday!

May be the last poll on sci-fi for now..but lemme know what genre of filmmaking I should look more into for the next!

Chris Martin

Tron then Tron 2. Tron 2 might be the best soundtrack there is.

Matt

Saw The Creator in theaters when it came out fantastic sifi movie, got my blu ray ready for when you check it out 📽🔥🔥

Tristan Winchester

Solaris is so damn gorgeous. Visually striking and a beautiful score. One of Tarkovsky’s best.

Edward Sighamony

I still think you will really appreciate Tarkovsky's Solaris since you liked Stalker so much. As for your next genre . . . I'd go for Samurai films especially since you're into Anime. Anime borrows so heavily from those movies. Hara-kiri, the Lone Wolf & Cub movies, Kill!, Samurai Rebellion, Sword of Doom, the Samurai Trilogy, etc.

JL Green

Based on the polling it doesn't appear The Creator will be viewed anytime soon, but I voted for it anyway

Linda

Investigative journalism films really turn my crank. THE POST and the OG of the genre: ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN are great. Another true story of the era is THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO SEVEN on Netflix. Also, THE INSIDER. 🔥

Chaos T

"THX 1138" is George Lucas's first feature film and one of his best.

Brett Coster

My two votes are: 1. Solaris 2. Fantastic Planet Both terrific and influential films and one of them, Fantastic Planet, a riff on Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Cody Price

As far as genres to try next, I would suggest westerns. When great westerns are done really well it is really hard to beat. Also locations in westerns are using some of the best in film.

Cody Price

Also another film genre to do would be cool would be sports films, because most of the time sports films when done correctly dive deep into the humanity of the characters in the story.

kbobravo

If you are going to look into a new filmmaking aspect/genre, I would love to see you dive into Old Hollywood Films (30s, 40s, 50s) or Foreign Films

Ken

THX 1138! For my taste it's a shame Lucas' career got consumed with Star Wars. I would've loved more movies like this from him. And it's just stunning - really interesting compositions. Nothing else looks like it. Also Flash Gordon. Pure fun

temsik28

"The Man from Earth" if you have never seen. You would love that shit.

ActionJeans

Not a genre, but production design could be interesting to zero in on

RICHARD

Tron is the definite stand out this week. My second vote was for my biggest guilty pleasure, Flash Gordon. Honestly, your life is not complete until you watch this movie. My biggest disappointment is seeing Small Soldiers on this list. It's not sci-fi, it needs to be on an animated list.

Bryan Tuck

I guess TRON can't help but be dated, but it is a fascinating time capsule. It's one of my childhood favorites, so it's hard for me to be objective about it. :)

Tetley

How about southern hemisphere cinema for a new poll theme?

Jason

How about rotating weekly themes? One could be Road Movies. You've done some already - Little Miss Sunshine, Paris Texas. I hope we get back to scifi eventually though.

Rant Casey

Tron is such a bad movie.

GobanShodan

I hope Mr. Nobody wins one day! It's not super well known but it's a fascinating story.

ryan

did you ever watch Upgrade? I would also recommend A.I. Artificial Intelligence

Daniel Kopytov

as russian i would be happywith Solaris winning the pool)))

Paul Steffens

Tron is weird but warms my heart. The VFX would be a nice contrast with The Creator in a double bill.

JPOlsen

So psyched for the scifi. And what a close first two leads!

ryan

you probably won't do Horror next, but you gotta react to The Empty Man at some point
