This one is for DRAMA & ROMANCE. Finally going to be stepping into this genre and figured this would also be a great way to explore both modern and older films since romance & dramas were the very origins of some of the more legendary story-tellings of our time. Please comment TWO films you'd like for me to put on the polls!

Lemme see what type of gems you guys have..!

“Fallen Angels” by Wong Kar-wai is an incredible relationship drama. *Also*, I have never seen anybody react to Martin Scorcese’s “The Age Of Innocence” with Daniel Day Lewis. Highly moving romance drama that one reviewer called the most emotionally violent movie they’d ever seen.

Ornery

Drama: Aftersun (2022). The composition in each shot is pretty incredible. Vibrant 35mm with a gorgeous score. Paul Mescal is absolutely amazing in this. Must watch. Romance (kinda): Nocturnal Animals directed by fashion designer Tom Ford. Michael Shannon’s best performance, Gyllenhaal and Adams are top notch. Aaron Taylor-Johnson too, insane cast, not to mention the cinematography 😩.
