Season 2 of Succession is here and I finally feel we're hitting the high rolling thrills this series can truly offer after finishing the first season. Interested in seeing the chess pieces and where they may fall this time around.

Thanks for the patience, still recovering but feeling a little better!

Yes! 😊

I know people feel strongly about later seasons but I really think episode 4 here is their best work. Home runs across the board. 😂

Linda

Were you thinking of The Favorite?

First off, welcome back! Hope you are feeling better. Secondly....I have a way different viewpoint on Shiv than you do. She basically told Tom ON their wedding night a) that she had Slept with Nate; B) that she thought they had an "Understanding" and C) that she didnt think she was ready to be in a monogamous relationship and that she wanted something "different. She also mentioned that their marriage worked from a "business angle" Knowing all of that...if Tom didnt walk out the door at that point...well, whatever happens from that point going forward, there should be no surprises.

Boar on the floor and water bottle fights all in a days work on Succession lol.

You said something about how you won't let Shiv's beauty make you stop hating her... you're stronger than me cause I'm a Shiv defender 4lyfe <3

At times, Tom and Greg have the best relationship in this series.

Michael Proch

Just starting ep3 now so don't know if you mention it, but that reporter Greg met with was also Gretchen Schwartz from Breaking Bad

Will

It’s insane how many Shiv apologists are out there. She is one of the most despicable characters besides Logan at this point and yet people will die on Shiv hill because everyone else is shitty too

Jon Exler

Hahaha I see you James. Root for Logan, you know you want to! They're all awful anyway its fun rooting for Logan lol

Taylor Olsoy

The ending of episode 3 is just "BRUTAL" (like Josh Brolin said in Dune part 1). Poor Tom to be completely on the floor, and then to hear what Shiv said. Absolutely decimated.

Outch. It hit too close to home for me, when Logan's financial aid says he has overthrown governments for Logan. A certain US technocrat is currently trying to destabilise my country. Its a bit chilling when they talk like that jokingly lol The show is so current, almost foreseeing. Shiv talking about mugshots not being a good look on campaign posters, and well... Reality may disagree lol The bore on the floor scene is unbearable to watch, I never cringed so hard, I felt as humiliated as the characters.

Roman and Gerri were my favorite subplot surprise. Safe Room is a great episode, one of the best. Kendall looks a bit suicidal throughout the episode and we get a look at how distraught he is in the scene with Shiv. Logan has him followed around. They know about the shoplifting and that he goes to the top of the building. Logan shows concern for Ken wellbeing a few times this episode. Tom and Greg at their best, this episode they shine. Logan already lost interest in Shiv. He manipulated her about being CEO so she quit her job in Gil's campaign and is just keeping her around to indulge her.
