Yo man, there’s this really dope movie called “An Elephant Sitting Still”. Not many people know it, but it’s pretty highly regarded by people who do, and it personally changed my life. The director killed himself after making it, the movie being his first and only feature film. It’s pretty long, but worth the watch at some point, heavy, but absolutely gorgeous movie

October will be here before we know it. So, I'm starting my campaign for Fright Night and Coma now. I can be tenacious, relentless, annoying...✌✌✌

I would like to recommend "Society of the Snow" which is a brilliant film adapted from a true story. I have read a couple different books about the true events and think this movie does a wonderful job at both sticking to the true events of what actually happened and capturing the emotional weight of the story and characters. The film is in Spanish, so would require subtitles. Available on Netflix.

Oh, so psyched for After Hours.

Did anyone else get disturbed the first time they watched After Hours? I didn’t end up finding any humor in it until the third time I watched it

You’ve gotta put If Beale Street Could Talk on one of these polls. I just know you’d love it!

Out of Sight (1998) romance and drama served up in in equal, chunky portions and wrapped in a tasty pastry of crime. Also like to recommend The New World (2005) for a stylish historical romance.

For a really great coming of age film "Kings of Summer" is one of my favourites and the cast is incredible. It's such a great script and you'll recognise so many actors. I'd also think "Creep" and "Creep 2" if you enjoy the first would be a fun ride and it'll be interesting to see what you see in the filmmaking and the things you notice about the 2 characters. I don't know about anyone else, but even if you've seen them I'd love a rewatch of the John Wick films and your expertise on how the filmmaking/stunts/sets/camerawork/long-action takes develop through to the 4th.
