Finally getting into The Office. Really excited to see how this show brings more laughter and happiness to my life while also making me want to jump out of an office window from cringe haha. Hope you are just as excited!

While the characters are taken to the extreme, there's a bit of every "The Office" character in a typical medium to large scale office work environment. I've worked under clueless, out of touch bosses like Michael and have had to work with several Dwight-type people. It's as annoying as it sounds.

I had forgotten how funny the first season is! I remember getting REALLY into the show around season 2 but especially when you know the characters these episodes were actually really fun! You're in for a crazy ride can't wait to experience it with you again

the second season, in my opinion, is when the show really starts to shine but still this first season is such a treasure lol you're going to have so much fun watching their stories unfold. i am so excited!!!!

Good time for me to watch it for the first time as well then. Somehow I've just never gotten around to it. By the way, you should give Mr Inbetween a watch. Virtually no one is reacting to it, and so few people have even heard of it, I am 99% sure you would love it. It's 3 seasons, the show is done and finished, and it's just about the best thing I've seen on TV in many many years.

Super excited you're jumping into this. First season is great, but once they kind of figure out all the characters, season 2 onward is what makes this such a classic

When John Krasinski found out he was cast as Jim he went to Scranton and interviewed employees that worked at actual paper companies for research, and he made that little home video style footage that they used for the opening credits, Same way Charlie Day made the video in the intro credits for Always Sunny

Season one is A LOT of cringe. Not to say that there aren't 1000 other cringe moments throughout the series, but yea S1 was different. I usually skip it when I rewatch the series for each millionth time lol... The story goes: after S1, NBC was gonna cancel it, but some exec or whatever said "wait, Steve Carrell has this movie coming out this summer (40 Year Old Virgin), and it should be a success. Let's wait." Then they revamped Michael a bit, and took him a couple notches down from the Gervais "Michael" in the original UK version. Looking forward to this experience with you! Keep up the great work, bro 🤘
