I tried acupuncture once! It was kinda scary and uncomfortable. You can’t move at all or it disturbs the needles and hurts. I don’t think it really helped me lol

I've been the last person in a group at a table to get my food more than once. Nobody ever waits and then everybody is ready to pay the cheque while I'm still eating and they all have this impatient look on their faces that makes we want to flip the table over. 😂 I remember researching the orchid thing and it turns out it's a pretty normal gift between men in Japan. It's meant to symbolize good luck, fortune, health and just good vibes. If they were red, it could be seen as romantic though. I'm pretty sure the Acupuncturist is a master strategist. He knew Larry would be put off by the flowers and not schedule another appointment, then had his receptionist call to confirm that he was better. At the end when he says "ancient Japanese custom" he has the perfect smug look on his face like "I played you like a fiddle."

Don't feel bad for not knowing people. The guy working at the deli, Barry, is just an actor, he never actually worked at SNL with Larry. The actor playing his father was Ed Asner who you know as the voice of the old man from "Up"
