Excited to be getting into this show and we are already off to a phenomenal start. It's great seeing inspiring stories come from Super Heros/Villains Origins..there's so much storytelling within these characters. Let's see how The Penguin confronts this story.

OMG! Here we are! It's happening!! ;) Was looking forward to this.

Lol, just got done watching your reaction to episode 1, so now I can binge the whole show 😊 thanks James

If you want some more great Colin Farrell films definitely check out "Seven Psychopaths" 2012 and "Banshees of Inisherin" 2022 both by the same director as "In Bruges"

I feel like if we saw him wearing a top hat, it would be a little too over the “top”. Oz could rock a bowler though, similar enough but not quite as dated.

For real man lol Selina Kyle is the Cat Woman, Cat woman’s father is Carmine Falcone. You’re welcome brother.

The amount of people online calling for Batman to curbstomp Penguin in TB2 after this dropped was insane, never seen such a unified reaction to a show😂 Justice for J. Cole🪦

My favorite quote from this series is in episode 1 when Sofia told Oz they were untamed because that's how I would describe Gotham. I loved the flashbacks with all the characters because it showed how there are two sets of monster's in Gotham, those like Sofia who are created and those like Oz who are just born that way and innocents like Vic and Oz's mom who always pay the highest price in the end. Thanks for the reactions ❤

I love the fact that they used "Where did you sleep last night" in the finale. One of the last live concerts with Nirvana they played that song, and a lot of fans see that song as kind of a goodbye from Kurt. This also ties into the fact that Nirvana was heavily featured in the soundtrack of The Batman

Matt

Sofia and Selina Kyle are half sisters

Matt

"I'm so happy Victor is alive"... nek minnit 😲

Happy you enjoyed the show, had a great time re-watchin 🐧 again want to mention if your planning watching Adore soon you should watch 3 episodes at a time, even if you don't want to release them like that it will be more satisfying for your viewing as its sort of in chapters/ arcs ✌

Linda

Cool show. When you get back to historical films, I submit Munich. I also notice a film just out called September 5. Looks great for future reaction. 🔥

Would love to see you get into The Sopranos. It’s not just great dramatic writing, it’s also got really uniquely funny dialogue, and a lot of odd and interesting filmmaking choices. I think you would have a great time with it.

Oswald Cobb's retribution of everyone experiencing their own hell makes him a phenomenal villain. Sofia going back to Arkham, his mother being kept in a vegetative state when she asked him earlier in the season to kill her if that ever happened, and Victor latching onto someone who filled the void of family only to be eventually being killed by the person that becomes his father figure is the Penguin's masterstroke of villainy. I hate everything he did in this episode but simultaneously love it because it's fucking good storytelling. This episode shows why The Penguin is a problem even for Batman.
