For comedic I'll throw my hat in for Smiling Friends! Scavengers Reign is an eventual must watch as well.

Can't believe no one has mentioned it but Fleabag is one of the most original and profound comedic shows I've seen. It's also a very quick watch with 2 seasons and 12 episodes total.

Hi James episode 3 of season 14 ''Dee day'' is banned would be amazing if you find a way to not miss out on it! Let's go Sunny Gang!

I'd like to recommend Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. It's a British series about a fictional sci-fi horror TV series from the 80s written by the equally fictional, arrogant and utterly inept author, Garth Marenghi. The fictional TV show is then intercut with interviews with the fictional actors who played the fictional characters in the ficitonal TV show. The way you reacted to the episodes of Always Sunny making their own versions of Lethal Weapon made me think you'd like Darkplace. It's kind of a similar conceit to the gang's Lethal Weapon scenes: a satirical bad tv show that can be best appreciated by people who understand filmmaking. From bad ADR to awkward lighting to atrocious blocking and framing, to say nothing of the dialogue and acting. It's just a delightful trainwreck. Also, it only has 6 episodes, so it's not much of a commitment.
