James! You missed a vital scene at the very end!

Chuck

Jaaaames. You didn't see the real ending of the movie😭 there is a mid credit and post credit scene. Mid credit scene is a must.

No way you skipped the end credit man! You need to do another video reacting to that!

I highly recommend going to see One Battle After Another in theaters

The older man who shat himself is Delroy Lindo. He's an amazing actor. He gave a powerhouse performance a few years back in Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods. One of my favorite movies that he's in is Get Shorty. You should definitely check it out at some point, it's hilarious and has a stacked cast.

You missed the mid credit scene. It is what takes this film from a great film to a masterpiece. The mid credit is not or normal minute and a half end credit scene it is like a 5 to 7 minute epilogue. There is also a little end credit scene as well at the very end, but the must see is the mid credit.

Also, Remmick is a great villain because he thinks he is the hero. Yes, he is evil, he does manipulate, but when he says he is saving them from their fate he means it because his own past experience. They put settle clues in the film but Remmick is from around the 5th or 6th centuries in Ireland where his people was being persecuted against, enslaved, and being forced to convert to Christianity during that time by the Romans. So Remmick himself knows about being oppressed, so he relates to the African Americans in the film. So when Remmick says he believes in equality he was not lying about that either. He sees the vampire way of life as the cure to oppression and just wants to spread it to who he can, but he is so blinded by his experience that he is not seeing that he is doing something similar that Romans did to him. He is forcing people to convert to his way of life and taking away their culture.

I too had a blast with this film. This probably wasn’t an intentional parallel, but the ending reminds me a lot of the ending to “The Last of Us”. Both stories end with a major character being asked to sacrifice something important to them, (for Joel it was Ellie, for Sammie it was his guitar, and by extension his music) then they cut to them driving and we have a moment where we’re unsure if they gave it up or not, only to find out that they did not give it up after all. Just a cool thing I noticed

Not Batman

it was worth destroying the mic for that "white people!!>>>>>>"
