Ayo ayooo, no schedule to these but wanted to catch up on more of this on the Patreon because why not? This belongs to the Pilot shows that I'm watching and after a few of you guys mentioned this, I decided to watch the first two episodes and see what all the fuss was about. Enjoy the random uploads, feel like it keeps things interesting!

haha ive been looking forward to this :D (but idk about watching the first 2 episodes with this show, its build in 3 part arcs so you basically watched the first 2 thirds of a movie ;D)

Stephen R

This should definitely be a regular one! Enjoy!

ShadowStunts

You HAVE to finish this show but it would be better in the future if you watch 3 episodes each time because the show is built on 3 episode arcs.

Glad you're checking these out. You mentioned that there no set schedule (as of yet, anyway) for this show. If you do continue with the series, just like someone else mentioned below the series is roughly structured in mini-arcs of 3 episode "movies", so if you plan on releasing a couple every now and again, I would suggest doing so in chunks of 3. Also, I haven't caught this reaction yet, so don't know what you thought about them, but the series does start kind of slow and these are generally thought of as some of the weaker episodes in case you're not exactly compelled to watch more.

Drew Or Die

I hope this is one you finish the whole series for. The first few episodes are pretty slow but well worth it once you get the payoff. It's one of the best shows to come out in the past few years. In my opinion, it's also the best piece of Star Wars content and I say that as someone who loves Star Wars. I'll also echo what others are saying this show is written in three episode arcs, so it's much better watched in chunks of three.

Zach Moroney

Very excited to see how you get on with these but definitely agree with doing these in a 3 episode block!

RICHARD

Definitely the best Star Wars series ever made.

Tortoise Of Legends

Really excited for this one. Not sure if you knew, it seemed like you didn't, but Cassian Andor was in Rogue One as one of the main characters. So this takes place between the third and fourth movies, closer to the fourth.

MorkBork

I waited a long time before watching this because I was annoyed by how hyped everyone was. I came in with no expectations and understood the love. I think anyone can enjoy this series even if they don't care about Star Wars. Great choice!

I do feel you about the color grading, I think many films and TV shows now, not only in Disney, suffer a bit from a lack of vibrant colors. My favorite aspect of this show is definitely the characters, this story is full of fascinating characters with a depth and complexity the likes of which I haven’t seen before in Star Wars.

The ghost of Master Fatman

As someone who's more into the writing side, my favorite part of Andor's writing is its characters (there's a certain dynamic soon that might be familiar to you) but for the technical aspect I think you'll be impressed with the shot composition

Thomas Fahey

It's all on the page. It's all on the screen. It's flawless.

Joramsim

the show (or this season) takes place in BBY5 which means 5 years before the battle of yavin, which is the battle in star wars 1977 against the first death star:)

Reader Of Threads

Andor is the best Star Wars since the original trilogy. It’s SW for adults.

Chaos T

Really happy Dan Gilroy and Andor won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing. Well deserved and easily the best thing Disney Star Wars has produced. What I really enjoyed about this series is the characters and their interactions matter. They aren't thrown by the wayside like it seems with other recent Star Wars projects. Also, this is the first time in Star Wars history where they seemed to fully embrace science fiction. Andor felt like "hard science fiction" opposed to the space fantasy we're used to with the franchise.

babyspoot

Bro I was just checking out your youtube looking for this series cuz I coulda swore you watched it. Perfect timing for me. I'm gonna do a full rewatch with you!

Mike

Love your reactions. I've only hit pay on a patreon subscription once before and that was to watch your The Wire reactions. When I saw you were doing Andor I could not get my credit card out quick enough. The combination of filmmaking and human insights works really well. I think you might need to rewatch Rogue One if you're not sure who "Andor" is.

James Edwards

Watch this in full James. Let's go.

Diarmid

Unbelievable writing some of the best in TV let alone Star Wars

Diabetic Raider

This series is not just for Star Wars fans, its for those who are fans of excellent writing, pacing, composition, cinematography, sound stage, and character development. As the series moves along and the dialog becomes more intense, the director starts breaking the rule of thirds on purpose and when he does, he REALLY starts to draw you in; allowing the viewer to better absorb what is being said. Andor is a series made by a team of storytellers and treats this project like no other Star Wars project since The Empire Strikes Back.

James Edwards

James... I gotta be honest with you. I think I've ducked all of your content since you wrapped the The Wire. I tried to watch The Sopranos with you (with my wife!) but we ducked out. Not a fan of that show after a 1.5 seasons. BUT THIS? I'm riding. I also want to watch Peaky Blinders so I'm going to catch up.

John Hoffler Jr.

As a heads up… the story arc’s of Andor are broken up into little 3-episode mini-movies. So watching three at a time (with the exception of s1e7) will alleviate some of the feeling of “oh is that it?”

Joseph Olson

I joined for this. Andor is the best Star Wars content out there in my opinion, and that includes the movies. You get to experience this universe from the ground up. The writing is brilliant, the stories and characters are complex and flawed (even the ones we’re rooting for) and there isn’t any frivolous waste. Sure, there are some comedic moments that break the tension, but you can tell that the creators and writers of this show went to work to tell an important story, and every scene and line of dialogue is well thought out and is there for a purpose.
