Let's go, the final hours ramp up in such a delightful way!!!!

I love that Queen of Comedy Carol Burnett got the drop on him and with Life Alert of all things!

The "Better Call Saul" episode of Breaking Bad is the cornerstone of the BB universe.

2 shows I'm pretty confident you'll enjoy are The Wire and Twin Peaks. The Wire is just peak writing and acting I'd recommend to anyone who likes good tv, while Twin Peaks is something directly in your lane since the filmmaking goes stupid in that show. The shot compositions and surreal sequences influenced and still influence many shows to this day. Appreciate all the hard work though man it definitely shows!

Kim choosing to live a mundane life as a form of self-punishment is painful to watch.

Owen Young

Saul was treating Kim just like Chuck was treating him before he passed away. “You never mattered all that much to me.” But you know he’s lying. The brothers have a similar defense mechanism of making you feel as if you don’t matter to them when they are hurting. “Have a nice life Kim.”

I will always lobby for you to continue Fargo. Especially the season that just ended. My god! Lol! Love your channel. Thanks for being awesome, James!

You mentioned ‘other shows’ and I just wanna mention that season 5 of Fargo just wrapped up and it was phenomenal! Most people agree it’s a competitor for best season of the series. Loved your reactions to the first 3 seasons. I have mixed feelings about the 4th season but the 5th season was absolutely fantastic! Just a heads up in case you’re ever curious to return to that universe for a bit. There’s a lot to enjoy about the newest season Other than that I just couldn’t be happier that you’re watching Mr Robot right now on top of all of these other great shows. I couldn’t ask for more. Crazy we’re almost done with the BrBa/BCS journey

Matt

I'm so glad you already can see that Mr Robot is comparable to Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul in terms of quality, another show I hope you check out in the future is Succession its another show I would put at the same level

The black & white Kim we see doesn't make a single decision until Jimmy calls her, until then she's living life on autopilot, she can't decide mayo V miracle whip, vanilla V strawberry, she has no opinion on anything. She has intentionally condemned herself to a life where she has no agency, she just exists, maybe because when she made choices it ended with Howard dying? It takes Jimmy's call (and him informing/reminding her that all the major players are dead now) for her to realise she needs to (and can safely) own up to the truth. So much good, chunky, crunchy stuff in these 2 eps. I'm glad you picked up on a lot of the themes and specific choices. Mike's entire old parking job has been automated, depressing but real. Kim uses an electric toothbrush now, another sign of the changing times (from when she brushed her teeth next to Jimmy). The great Saul Goodman was caught by one old woman googling "bad man ABQ", it's so funny and karmic. What a show! One of my fav things is the intro sequence. It's not just trippy... the tape has literally run out for Jimmy/Saul/Gene. He could have carried on forever in peace, he doesn't need money or anything. But instead the show keeps going, he called Kim and then made the choice to scam again and take increasing stupid risks. So many parallels.

I’m a little late…Let’s Gooooooooooo!!!!!

Ben Neuville

Would love to see you react to the Leftovers. Incredible storytelling, and is in my top three shows of all time with Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Nate

It's an absolute crime that Rhea Seehorn didn't get an Emmy for this episode or this season in general. BCS getting 53 nominations for the six seasons but zero wins is another crime.

MR

You definitely should do The Wire next. For me, Sopranos is more of an acquired taste, really good in some respects but also uneven. The Wire is something everyone can enjoy on many levels.

Yess... Cuban B

If you're into sci-fi stuff, The Expanse is really good. Also, Arcane.

Jon Exler

Succession brother, I know I keep saying it but it really is the absolute best writing in a TV series ever. I would trade my life for this quality of art

Kaitlin

For future TV shows I would say Veep is a perfect comedy, outswears Succession by miles, and they had a perfect ending.

Clarks_ Army

In the first episode saul goodman appears in breaking bad, when hes in the desert he says "it wasn't me it was ignacio hes the one" and he also said "did lalo send you." from those two throwaway lines made two amazing characters and tied it into breaking bad so good.

Auranymph

I recommend The Curse, by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. It's incredibly intriguing from a filmmaking perspective and it's only 10 episodes. There's a severe lack of reactions on YouTube and I'd be beyond happy if you reacted to it. I could talk about the camera angles in that show for ages.

DDK

Really think Succession is the move, man. Just won a crap ton of Emmys, Amazing show that absolutely holds up to this standard, know you’d LOVE it.

Simson Ward

I think they did a really good job with the makeup on Saul when he was talking with Mike. He looked a lot younger there. And Walt's voice is still prime Heisenberg lol. Same with Mike.

Andy Luke

Great reacts, James and the commentaries which are a must. I feel like I'm appreciating BCS through a new lens.

Simson Ward

I thought Saul was going to kill Marion. 😕 I was like "no theyre really going to make us hate him." Well my guess is he's going to run to vacuum guy again. Btw, Gene's son I thought might have been the junkie in Breaking Bad. The guy who was yelling for "TUCKER!! TUCKER!" That flashback drew when Gene was talking about her son getting in trouble in Albuquerque. But it's not him after some research. That would have been a wild circle that would have made sense to the timeline of things. Wow. This has been a thrill. One more ep to go!

Jon Exler

Crime is the only thing that brings color to Jimmy's life

Irrelevant

Did anyone else peep the $737,000 investment that Gene took a picture of in the guy's house? That's the same amount that Walt said he needed, and the foreshadowing of the plane crash at the end of season 2 of Breaking Bad.

TeddyKGB

What angers me is, Howard's wife acting like she's upset enough to sue Kim. She was making Howard sleep in the guest house. She didn't care enough about him when he was alive, but now that there's $$$ to be made from his death, she's all about it. I wish it was her in that hole under the lab and not Howard.
