Succession is the winner of the next tv show I’ll be watching! Gotta say, that poll was AWESOME. Never seen anything so neck and neck..shoutout to The Sopranos & The Wire community for the good fight. You will get yours once again soon!

I plan on starting Succession next week, so expect the first batch of uploads to start rolling in the 10th-12th of February!

Bummed about The Wire but this gives me a reason to finally check this show out.

Yes! Kieran Culkin's character is great

That was a roller coaster, but the Con Heads prevail!

Kenneth thomas

Succession is a superb show and I'll enjoy the heck out of the reactions. The Wire is in a whole other league though imo, I hope you get to it!

Brittyn Lindsey

I really could NOT get into Succession. I’m glad others enjoy it but I’ll be skipping these reactions.

in the words of the great tom wambsgans; ‘buckle up, fucklehead!’

Legato

To the winner go the spoils! Here's hoping that The Wire will get it's chance eventually.

Michael Chavira

Just started watching season 1. I wanted to see what all the hype is about. I like the story, actors are good, but I'm just not into the directing/editing style of this show. That "Jason Bourne" type of camera that always has to be moving and shaking, always zooming in and out, and changing angles every 5 seconds, as if it's against the rules to sit still and enjoy one perspective for too long. It gets annoying after a while. I'm still on the fence about watching more of this show.

Joshua Rosen

HELL YEAH. Only show I've watched 4x through. This one is not about cinematography, it's about the writing. Amazing dialogue. LOVE it.

Anaïs

I’m so happy let’s go

Mantis

Most definitely one of those "there are no wrong answers" situations for me, as Sopranos, The Wire and Succession are all in my Top Ten shows ever. So im gonna enjoy rewatching Succession with you with the hope that you get to the other two in the future.

Parker Holmes

Us Sopranos fans are quietly biding our time…the sacred and the propane

Guy

Man this show he recency bias on its side unfortunately. I wanted the sopranos or the wire. Aw well I’m sure it will come one day.

Linda

The Sopranos is a good show with a great cast. But, for whatever reason, a lot of people tried and just couldn't get into it. I sure miss James Gandolfini though.

Linda

Don't fret. Succession is only 39 episodes. The Sopranos would take a couple years to get through.

Linda

Actually, the best show on the poll is Mad Men. It is gorgeous, mid century perfection and dead on historically accurate with every detail. Made me feel like knocking back a couple martinis and chain smoking a pack of Luckys. Great music too.

Anna H

I'll be praying every day that Severance makes it onto a future poll. That show is the single greatest thing I've seen in years, and with your appreciation of writing, direction, all of it--- I'm certain you would love it too

Ken North

The Wire ruined other shows for me.
