I hope you're feeling better! God I love how everyone in your comic looks like, to borrow a phrase, "a person in your neighborhood." It doesn't matter if they're aliens or GMO humans, there's something so very normal and comfortable about them. It's a sign of how well you've studied people- whether you were consciously studying them or not. It makes it all feel so accessible, beyond just being able to relate to the problems the characters have. It's a fantastical adventure- but one you, an average person, feel like you could have.
