Talita panel 3: "Oh god it's one of my temps. Please ignore me please ignore me please ignore me please ignore me please ignore me is that a fucking weed pipe?"

Drawing these complex environments to set the scene has been fun but I admit I'm looking forward to the next seven pages of talking heads inside an environment I've already modeled. I've gotten so much better at Blender though. Look, I can make chairs! Wowie!

I see the zucchini has already infiltrated here.

Kibbles

You did such a great job making their room feel naturally lived in with all those small clutter details. Love the little Airsled(?) puzzle!

Art by Jinx Wolf

I love the snail salt and pepper shakers! Their apartment looks so cozy

Hemocyanin

Oh my god, I could stare at all these little details for hours. I especially love the IPA coffee mug and the Avian puzzle, I would love to hang out in this apartment with these delightful nerds.

Kiabab T.

I love the little lantern with a crescent moon on it! and the many jackets and such hung on the wall! cute detail :D

Cat Brooks

It's so funny how normal this apartment is. I remember thinking this in the comic with baby Talita, where they use what just looks like basic google to look up info about her, but I love the idea that even in the SPACE FUTURE, we keep using the tools and aesthetics that make sense to us now. It's almost a little unbelievable that the TV looks exactly like mine, and the fridge looks the same. This is like the most familiar room in the world. But it's on a space mining facility, lol. It's a refreshing way to think about sci-fi. Were these things manufactured on Earth/elsewhere and then shipped in?

Icarus

this is amazing omg.. absolutely same @ cat's comment & also im so inspired to start making rooms & other references in blender now. (and i hope yao doesn't learn anything about the bip situation. i'm manifesting a stress-free work environment for talita rn)

Erika Spooner

Do Gillie and Idrisah have a robot that does things around the apartment? How common are robots like that? What are the rules that govern the genetic modifications a pet may have?

Cavarain

Continually smitten by low LOD gillie

bakedbananners

talita being in a human sized apartment where her head reaches the ceiling really puts into perspective how tall she is lol

BasiliskFree

Seeing the 3 fish gulg pitches is so delightful, maybe I'll try using mine as a vase too lol

picatso3

Love the tiny zucchini on the counter: a hint at the chapter title? I love their apartment, feels a great contrast to Talitas, too. They show so much about the characters!

Topknot

I wanna know who collects the gluggle jugs. 👀

marineVerdancy

looks like an old lady apartment I love it

Guy Pradel

I've found this page's zucchini !
