Hey guys! How are you?I'm doing great! Just celebrated 2 month of my newborn son. Trying to work as much as possible (mostly during the night), but it's really hard, cause baby takes all the time.I wanted to ask you one important question.I feel that this BDSM chapter is not what most of the people expected. It's happening for a long time (I decided to make the whole book with that BDSM chapter, so, around 120-140 pages of the future "Swinging Island 5: Into the Dungeon"). And now there are around 41 pages left. To be honest, I got pretty tired of it too. It's kinda important for the narrative and the characters will discover something new for them, that's why I don't want to skip it at all. But at the same time I wanna draw more fun on the sun, near the pool.. like normal daytime Swinging Island adventures. And I feel that most of the people want it too.So I decided to let you choose between 3 options.1. Skip the BDSM chapter and go straight to the sunny side of the story. I will finish it later for the book and publish when it's ready as the finished PDF. But not very soon.2. Do one page from the future chapter (pool party) and one page from the BDSM chapter. Maybe I can post one on $10 tier and one on $15, so people who pay $15 would see more pages per week.3. No, let's do everything in order. I should finish BDSM chapter properly and continue with the next one. You are ok with it. Thanks for the answers!If you have better ideas - please leave it in the comments.

I'm ok with skipping it. I would also be fine 2 if that's what you want. Seems like more work though. I mostly just like seeing the two main characters relationship as they explore these new experiences and sexual situations together. That dynamic is what made it stand out for me compared to other similar series (besides the art). This recent period hasn't had much of that for a while but I guess if Grant is meant to find Betty soon, I'd rather stick. Otherwise, it's still been a lot of fun and I'm not too fussed either way. Hope you're doing well.

Pausing it for a couple of months and then deciding sounds reasonable to me. Honestly, though, I'd rather hear that line of the story it's closed than hear that you might pick it up again years from now. I say this with respect, but your track record with long-term projects hasn't been great. I do understand that artists get fed up with things and move on, that's fair enough and it happens. The harder part is that over-promising has been a constant, and that's the bit that wears people down. A clear "this isn't happening" would be much easier to take than an open-ended maybe. On option 2, the part where some of the story moves to the $15 tier doesn't sit right with me. I stayed after you restructured the membership a while back, even though I didn't fully agree with it, because prices change over time and that's normal. But moving some content behind a higher tier feels more like quietly changing the terms of the membership, and that's a different thing. Whatever you decide, I'd rather have the honest version of it.

If its import2for the character development/storyline, maybe focus on keeping the story intact so people dont get confused? Like maybe a shorter version of the 40 pages left? You can always fill in the gaps later ;) it might provide for some closure atm. I'm torn between 1 and 3, because 2 sounds too confusing for everyone involved ;)

Though I would prefer to continue with the bdsm chapter, I feel that the soul of the artist is more important at the moment of nurturing the newborn. Do what your heart tells you and maybe at this time it’s not just the moment of this bdsm energy and for now it would be better to postpone.

Pu ha das ist nicht so einfach . Grant sucht jetzt schon eine Weile nach Betty, es wäre schön wenn wir erfahren wie es weiter geht. Schon so lange geht die Geschichte ein schlüssiges Ende wäre schon toll. Vielleicht kann man die Hauptstory verkürzen und den Rest später einfließen lassen. Du hast und bis hierher geführt jetzt bring es zu Ende. Ich wünsche dir viel Kraft und fühl dich gedrückt.

Don't let timelines dictate your art. I'd rather a well thought out story line and good art vs. heartless content pumped out to meet the current criteria. Take a pause move on to something you want to work on and when you feel inspired return back when ready. I do like the BDSM chapter, but it does feel like it's just randomly walking around. Do you know where the story is going? Feels a bit disjointed, but I think it's wise to simmer on how you want to handle the plot before you move forward. Looking forward to it being finished though - don't give up on it entirely!

I’m really enjoying this chapter. Betty’s complete submission to The Dominator is fascinating, and I’m looking forward to following Grant, who in his naïve belief that he is the dominant one, seems to be heading toward a situation where the power dynamic shifts. Hopefully they’ll end up as a pair shaped by their respective dominant partners.

I might be in the minority, but I agree that this chapter is going on way too long for my taste. There have been some scenes where I would have otherwise stopped reading the entire chapter. I’m not sure where character development is going, but I’d like to see it much more concise, then move on. I’m really sorry about feeling like this, as I have enjoyed everything up until this chapter.

I am not into BDSM, and so I was not happy to see that the stoy drifted into BDSM. I'd say stop it.
