Why does the Leopard 2 have a mirror on its gun barrel? In this video I talk with a former Leopard 2 gunner why there is a mirror at the end of the Leopard 2 barrel (also on the Leopard 1, although at a different position). That can turn out to be the solution for bypassing the drone jammers. You create a "motherdrone" flying higher and sending commands through laser to the lower action ones. Those jammers might not have a quite significant range and since there's nothing in between the drones in a short distance it may well work. Would at least provide research in the transmittion of data through laser. I have not seeing yet people talking about this, but countries might well have research of this field already. I think it has potential, specially if a way of improving the jammers is found, and they turn to be more effective. You see that the Germans kind of did this to some extent with their "milk cows" submarines during ww2, though. I think it is similarly the same concept but applied to different tasks. I don't know how effective those jammers are, they certainly may not prevent a pre programmed drone attack. But in the case of reconaissance, for instance, they might well work and prevent the drones from watching closer.

Your idea has potential... Making drones autonomous and working on preset algorithms, using only internal function, based on microchips/wires would definitely solve the REB problem. But problem is - if You make mothership as a main viral network responsible for communications or commands to slave drones, just block the communication with mothership and that's it. The only solution would be to make all system without any wireless communication - so maybe setting up complex algorithms for drones to recognize and hit/report targets on pre-set conditions - You install software, make it fully internal and completely independent from outside. So here we dwell into the unmanned, maybe fully AI-based systems, which are considered to be a gray area at the moment...
