NOTE, this version contains part of the movie's trailer elements, as such I can't turn off the ads (not sure if there are some). Additionally, I won't receive any money from it, so this is not the version that will be published to the general public. So, if you want to leave your comments, use the regular video.

This FURY scene is BAD & here is why

An Analysis of the Anti-Tank Scene in the movie Fury (2014), we look particularly at US and German tactics or better their absence. I find most modern war movies mostly action driven without the slow pace of some military tactic principles. Saving Private Ryan was perhaps the most balanced one? Yet it still doesn't cover that much how troops advance to take positions, where and how they fire. Geography is also quite absent in war movies despite the fact that it plays an important part in warfare, if the not the most important part. In the terms of the tactic which should be used against guns, I think exposing the tanks isn't ideal, they should instead be kept behind and only cover the flanks for the infantry to handle the guns, ideally covered by artillery or things like that. It is not ideal to expose the tanks because you never know for sure if there's only two enemy guns firing or more. Anti-tank guns are small and difficult to spot and they were many times used set in ways so to make traps. It is a similar situation of ships against coastal defenses and bunkers. The gun on the fort will always have an advantage over the ship in the sea because it is static and so forth. Unless the ship's guns could outreach those of the fort's, it is not ideal for a ship to attack an inland fortification. It's old Panzer General 1. Bite the thing with artillery first taking some strength then send the infantry.
