Clear and concise comparison, as usual, with the inclusion of how conclusions are drawn not just from detailed technical comparison, but the actual deployment and operational functions both sides faced. It's never as simple as the tech specs, but training and application of TTP can make an amazing difference on performance, and eventually, historical reporting.

By default, inferior training/coordination/motivation/etc. seems like a safe assumption to make, but I appreciate that you still tried to find some sources for this. On the other hand, it feels a bit unsatisfying that most information one can find online seems to come from the Western side. I wonder what the Iraqi perspective would be, e.g. from troops in the RGFC who must have known(?) they were facing unsurmountable odds.

Yeah, it is hard to tell if they knew what they were up against etc. Particularly, that now there comes also the in hindsight aspect. Ideally, we would have diaries or something from them at the time to check.
