Enjoyed every bit of your video, so many great points and "Chieftain" is pure gold and please take care of your leg, seems way better than mines but you know Navy surgeon can do miracles but still PEGI 18 twenty years later. Take care!

thank you, glad you liked it! Well, the thing with my legs is that for some reason, the "coloration" of old wounds don't go away, one can still see some outlines from a 2008 wound. I don't have this on my upper body though.

Sorry if this is a little personal, but why don't you drink?

Military History Visualized

well, that is rather long story. Basically, it comes down to - sürprise - several factors: 1) I dislike the taste of alcohol (or its associated components, because some people tell me, it is tasteless), which is probably due to high bitter-sensitivity. Quite interestingly I remember that as a child, I always wanted to drink alcohol, because on TV etc. it seemed something really good. Yet, up to this day I haven't tasted anything remotely pleasant, except crap like Red Bull + Vodka. Wine that people call sweet is bitter to me, but so is regular orange juice. 2) Going against the grain, this is mainly a thing in the past, but drinking was so common and portrayed as "cool" by everyone despite it being a nerve poison /depressant. I find it particular ironic if the "youngsters" think that they are rebellious when they are drinking, while the "adults" do the same. 3) since I have seen some data on the damage that alcohol does on the health and economy... holy crap. Note, I don't have a problem with alcohol consumption, but quite a lot of people just abuse it. I have seen quite some responsible drinking over the years, e.g., friends interjecting a glass of water every few beers, so he gets no headache next day etc. Note, I also tried in various times in my life drinking alcohol and was one time really drunk, but drinking for me has no function nor does it taste in anyway pleasant. So, I have no problem with people drinking responsible nor am I annoyed by drunk people. (Quite interestingly a lot of people tell me: how can you stand all the drunk people while being sober? Well, I don't mind them most of the time, cause you get used to them when you are sober long enough - or at least it worked for me.)
