How close was a breakout of World War II in 1938? This is not an unlikely scenario at all. If we look at the Sudeten Crisis, Hitlers willingness to go to war (or was he just bluffing?) and why he backed down. We also look at why Hitler backed down, the chances of Czech Forces, the German plans "Fall Grün" (Case Green) for the invasion and their plans to deal (or not) with France and the United Kingdom by building up the "Westwall" (Siegfried Line).
