On D-Day what did the Germans know?

When it comes to D-Day and the German Perspective there are a few bits out there, but the sources are sometimes lacking. So, for this, we will be looking at some proper sources namely, the situation report of Operations Staff of the Wehrmacht and the war diary of the 7th German Army. Richard Stokes

I'd like to read an analysis of Allied deception plans from a German perspective. For example, on the eve of the final battle of Alamein, was the Afrika Korps really fooled by Plan Bertram? In Spring and summer 1944 was Hitler really fooled by the Pas de Calais ruse? He, I believe, thought the landing would be in Normandy, not Calais. The postwar assessment of strategic deception was completed by the victors. Does it objectively hold up or is it triumphalist boasting?

Military History Visualized

All comes down to sources and/or proper articles. I generally will go more into the perceptions from one side of the other. As I started them last year. Next one is likely what the Japanese thought about the Germans.
