The Kettenkrad

The legendary Kettenkrad probably the oddest and cutest of all German WW2 vehicles. This half-track motor bike is still quite common at events, as such you will see some footage from Tankfest and Militracks 2019 in this video. Disclaimer: I was invited by the Tank Museum at Bovington and also by the Panzermuseum Munster. Footage recorded at the Tank Museum at Bovington, at Tankfest 2018 & 2019, Panzermuseum Munster & Militracks 2019 (War Museum Overloon). https://www.tankmuseum.org https://www.youtube.com/c/daspanzermuseum https://www.militracks.nl https://www.oorlogsmuseum.nl/en/home/ »» SUPPORT MHV «« » paypal donation - https://paypal.me/mhvis » patreon - https://www.patreon.com/mhv » subscribe star - https://www.subscribestar.com/mhv » Book Wishlist https://www.amazon.de/gp/registry/wishlist/3LJIXNJIUXJES/ref=cm_wl_huc_view?language=en_GB »» MERCHANDISE «« » teespring - https://teespring.com/stores/military-history-visualized » SOURCES « Spielberger, Walter; Doyle, Hilary Lous, Jentz, Thomas L.: Halbkettenfahrzeuge des deutschen Heeres amazon.de (affiliate): https://amzn.to/2KDFrpP Spielberger: Halftracked Vehicles of the German Army 1909-1945 (Spielberger German Armor and Military Vehicle) amazon.com (affiliate): https://amzn.to/2IeHwdr Hahn, Fritz: Waffen und Geheimwaffen des deutschen Heeres 1933-1945. I saw one of these at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA, USA, as well as a BMW R75, and a Hanomag automobile from 1939. I recommend visiting the museum--it has one of the largest collections of WW1 & WW2 planes (from many countries) in the world, particularly of German aircraft--including late war prototypes that never saw combat. Many of their planes are actually flown regularly from the airstrip on site.
