Why don't you do X or visit Museum Y?

Quite often Chris from Military Aviation History and I are asked why didn't you do X, why didn't you mention Y, why didn't you visit museum Z? etc. So we thought we address this in a video. In short it comes down to time, space and money. See also: Logistics. MHV, and MAH vids are always good and worthy of support. You will never be able to cover every nuance of every topic, and there will always be people who are not satisfied. About the "flying porcupine", it was probably back in the early 1990's, before the internet, there was an interview with a German FW190 pilot, who was barely old enough to fly at the time, who spoke about attacking a B-17 formation, he said "It was like flying into a porcupine!"

Both of you do great work, but very Eurocentric work. As an American, we would love to see more Pacific War information but understand the costs of traveling those great distances. That said, keep up the great work, I look forward to your shows. As a former USN submarine officer in the Pacific Fleet I fully understand how vast our country is & the Pacific Ocean. While on active duty I crossed the continental US with my family 5 times. I was stationed in Groton Connecticut, San Diego California, Pearl Harbor Hawaii & Guam.

Thank you. I always try to add more Pacific War content, the issue is generally it gets less views and yet far more important, I can't add much value there. I don't speak/read Japanese or Chinese, English well nearly everyone speaks English anyway. Meanwhile, very few people speak/read German that also produce Military History content and far less of those actually go into the archives etc. Actually, an upcoming video is a Pacific War related video that also looks at German primary sources into the mix as well.
