In my recent video about Stalingrad there was an error and a major error, thankfully someone pointed that out. I made two mistakes:

1) For some reason I added the 16th Motorized Division to the total division count, although when reviewing my notes I didn't put it on the list of the encircled units. I guess by double-checking all units again I probably mixed it up with the 16th Panzer Division, which was encircled.
2) The major error was that I summed the artillery units up wrongly. The table I was using stated "Batteries" instead of "Guns", I even wrote that in my excel sheet for doing the various calculations on actual vs. intended strengths, but for some reason I missed that part. Since every battery has 4 guns, the number of the actual strength is at maximum 4 times bigger, although I assume that not all batteries were at full strength at that point, nevertheless the error is significant.

Hence, probably one Monday a short video stating these errors will be out to clear up the errors and also notify as many people as possible that the next video will be corrected one, because I will use the same title and redo the erroneous parts.

I will also add an annotation to the old video to view the corrected video and de-list the video.

For the conclusion itself there is not much difference, because in any breakout attempt the artillery would have left to be behind, also the ammo situation was dire, thus the effectiveness of the German artillery was rather limited at that point.
