Hello everyone, the-man-with-barely-a-plan here once more to give you the down low on what's been happening and what you can expect during this month!
This month we saw the first public release of the DLC packs and people really seemed to enjoy what was in there! There were a couple of bugs that had to be squashed that have been dealt with, though an accidental teaser for next months pack might have slipped its way into there by mistake. Woops. It will only be a few weeks until you know what that is about, so call it a promotional piece.
This month's art piece will be of Kali and a more detailed look of her downfall after you slipped that voucher into her bag that one day. This was another one that I had a longer narrative in mind for, so I ended up commissioning another sequence piece. Though after talking with Tsuyukiart (who is handling the piece) it looks like it might take a bit longer to complete than the usual 15th of the month deadline that I set.
However, since a certain holiday happens on the 14th this month, you won't be starved for art content, so I hope that you can forgive the delay on the character commission. The poll for the March commission will begin at the usual time still though.
As for work on the new game, last month was on the slower side in terms of what got accomplished. The DLC ended up being pretty time consuming, which ate into dev time for the new game, but that doesn't mean that I got nothing done. I was able to furbish a few of the rooms through out the house, which you can see below:
Many of the things you see on screen can be interacted with, with the end goal of providing a experience similar to BA but with a more "gamey" type feel. Where you will be tasked with figuring out how to do certain things for each girl in order to get them to put on weight. So to allow for interesting puzzle crafting I want the house to feel full and lived in, that way it is actually a bit of a challenge.
My goal with each girls room was to give them a distinct vibe. Something that stuck in player's minds while also letting you know what she is about. And so far I think I have managed to do that.
And that's all I got for this month. Thanks to all new and old patrons, because of you I have been able to get many piece of art of my characters done by very talented people, as well as you all gave me the motivation to try my hand at more serious game development and art practice. I hope to continue to make good on my end and deliver to you all what you deserve.
