May Base Touching (Patreon)

Hello again everyone! Time to give the monthly report on goings on for the Patreon.

First let's talk about the most recent update to BA. It was well received and the feed back on the updated images has been positive. I have been making the effort to continue updating images, but between the base game and the DLC that is over 2000 images that are being reworked. As such, this is eating into the development of the new game, but I think it will be worth it in the long run as making BA the best it can be is something I have always wanted for the game.

Although that doesn't mean that I haven't done anything for the new game, I have managed to create some more assets, and continue to work on filling out the interior of the house, while also coding in interactions here and there. It is proving to be a time consuming process, but as I have said before, a strong foundation will make for an easier time developing more in the future. Here are a few screen shots:

One thing that I do want to work on is Jenn's walk animation, it feels a bit stiff, and after doing some more sprite work I think I can do better.

Speaking of, last month, I helped a friend of the community, Liferake, by doing some sprite sheets for his game for the Preggo Game Jam #3. Check out Camellia's Coronation Report if that sounds up your alley:

Last month I also put out a five part sequence staring Aubrey made by Plumpchu, I was personally very happy with how it turned out, definitely one of the best pieces that has been done so far!

This month's piece is of Bonnie, the healthy snack vendor turned candy peddler, with a brief look into her life after successfully becoming an independent business owner during the epilogue of the game. The piece was handled by Tsyuikiarts and you can expect to see it on the 15th.

Last month, I had talked about wanting to begin a comic series here on the Patreon, but after drafting out the initial chapter and pricing out just how much it would cost to do, it isn't really feasible to do at this moment in time, which I am sorry to report. However, I decided to do something else, which is to create character sheets for the girls within BA, that can be used as reference for future works as well as give a little look into there personality and gains. You can expect those to begin rolling out sometime soon.

Aaaaand that's all I can think to report as of now, I want to thank you all once again for the generous support that you have been showing me. And I think the new content in BA over the last few months has been awesome, I am sure the public will love it when it goes live at the beginning of next month.
