September Base Touching (Patreon)

Schools back in session and that means it's time to talk about all thing on my end, so lets just get right into it.

Last month's DLC came out to positive reception, which I am happy to see, there was a lot of time that went into this one and I am glad that the effort didn't go unnoticed. Once again a big thanks to Rat on the discord for providing his efforts in creating the resort sequence.

This October's DLC drop is slated to be the last major content release for the game, marking the one year anniversary of the Patreon. The world I have created has become much bigger (heh) and lived in than I ever could have imagined, and honestly it would be possible to keep going if I so chose. But at some point you have to know when to put down the hammer and just appreciate what has already been built.

There are still things that I want to do with the game however even after this final content update. And that is to polish the whole thing. I want to rework images, reformat older passages to clean up dead space, add more sounds effects throughout the earlier portions of the game, and to finally implement the picture gallery. All of this stuff is going to be time consuming but also not warranting it's own monthly release schedule. So my plan is to spend this month focusing on getting my last few ideas into the game and then work on refining the whole thing afterwards, with the end goal to be to release its completed version whenever it is finished.

So what's next then? Well currently I am working alongside a few other creators on a new project that I won't divulge much about at the moment (though I will attach a picture below as a tease of one of the characters), but I am very excited by the work that we have been doing. Secondly, development on "Gluttony House"(Name pending) will resume with Big Aspirations finally being put away. It will be interesting to hop back into it after this multi-month break, but I am excited to bring in some of the skills I have been cultivating.

Next lets talk about the commissions. Last month we saw a new artist join the roster of people that I am working with, thatsmy4rt. I think they absolutely knocked it out of the park with the Stephanie piece, and you can look forward to seeing more by the very soon. Secondly we had our first Large Meal Tier suggested piece, with Jamie falling victim to the unpasteurized milk. KageyRagey continues to put out excellent pieces and I am always happy to work alongside them.

Coming up later this month we have Evelynn as the character piece for the month and we have an Aubrey piece that was suggested by the Large Meal Patrons, handled by thatsmy4rt and Plumpchu respectively, the sketches for both are very promising and I am excited to share them with you all when they are ready.
