I’ve never actually seen this match. This is going to be good.

Amomantra94

Haven’t clicked the video yet. But wanted to preface this and later return to answer my own question. It’s been forever since I saw this match, it can’t be as bad as they all say… CAN IT?!?

Heylo

iirc this was the first EC Match I saw live, making me very disappointed that Monday morning while very tired at school that this is what I stayed up for

Kyle Olson

Rusev was the injured man.

that guy who want to support

I was out of wrestling that time and never actually watched this match this is so much worse from what I've imagined

Mark Sauvie

I too miss when Elimination chambers were men, Tempest. I watched this show at a watch party with about 90 Wrestling fans and indie wrestlers after an indie show and the experience of this match was just fascinating. Some people were in horror, some were laughing out loud for minutes and most of us were just confused as hell.

Geek Of Arabia

Having never seen this Chamber match until now, I didn't think I could make myself watch it alone. Thank you for providing the world with a watchalong to get through it with.

Ben (Be3nzie)Crosby

A new worst match ever! What is it my birthday?!? (Yes it is that’s the joke)

Aiden Topping

10 years ago I was 11 happily watching whatever 2010s slop WWE gave us at the time. I haven’t watched the match back since then and frankly don’t remember it so I can’t wait!

Ilan Woll

If you are taking recommendations, the first AEW casino battle royale could be a good fun disaster match. Not sure if it’s available on MAX, as the pre-show didn’t seem to be on there

Dashing Dan

So happy this one is now being watched, because I hate myself I think this is the best EC match ever 😂

John Kasserman

I’d argue for this match being below Bray/Knight. This match fell apart after an accident, that match was made bad on purpose to secure more sponsorship money.

Lawson Douvier

If recommendations are on the table, I will always throw out the David Flair vs Eric Bischoff, or any David Flair match. Awful, but wildly hilarious.

Blossom

I remember watching this live and crying with laughter - and second time around is the same!

Davian Clarke

For what it's worth. Rusev was meant to be in the match but got injured

Micah Newby

Not me IMMEDIATELY pausing this to pop over to YouTube real quick when they start talking about Monsters Inc 🤣

100% Agree. Bless his heart, I genuinely believe David was following the direction given to him, and was good at projecting the character of "creepy, spoiled, degenerate rebel." That said, the story just had absolutely no legs to it. None at all. And even if it did, David just didn't have the body language to get it there.

Tom Bolton

The most disturbing part of this entire match is discovering that Tempest never cared about the midcard until 2011. (Which, for a 97-99 WCW kid, it's like imagining the other side of the looking glass.)

Lawson Douvier

I definitely can’t knock him for trying, because he definitely seemed like he was doing his best. And having Ric Flair right there to compare him to didn’t help.

Ryan McGowan

next worst match ever : 2015 royal rumble. i can’t believe i actually forgot how awful this match was, which is hard to believe

J and C

Listened while shoveling out the drive way this morning. Great show!!

Adele A. Lugosi

I love the Spiderman Meme of everyone pointing to each other at the 22:15 mark of the video

Straightedge47

My favourite part of this match is Sheamus revealing he'd jammed the door with his cross, and commentary having no idea what was going on so Jerry exclaiming "he used his cross to pick the lock!"

Mr. Samuel Scratch

There has never been a match that more nakedly shows the utter dissolution of kayfabe in realtime. Drugs Bunny VS Scorpion from Mortal Kombat at Hoodslam is realer than this.

BigRed04

How dumb of me, I was looking in the Worst Match Ever Collection for this. 😆 🤣 😂

John Kasserman

Also underrated flaw in this match: it starts with Dolph and Wade, probably the two best workers in the match at this point in everyone's career. And it is dreadfully boring.
