No, it's the 25th anniversary as it happened 25 years ago. The event is the origin point, 0. 25 years from that point marks the 25th anniversary. If there were an annual event, oh, let's call it, "Wrestlemania," where the inaugural event would technically be "Wrestlemania 1," the 25th Wrestlemania would be 24 years later, making it the 24th anniversary of the inaugural event. You could say it celebrates 25 years of Wrestlemania inclusively, but there hadn't been 25 years *since* the initial event.

I would argue that in order to be a "creative genius," Russo would need more than one great idea or storyline. But the moment he went to WCW, all he did was rehash his WWE storylines and redo the ones McMahon wouldn't allow him to do fully. And then he did it AGAIN in TNA. I think Bischoff never got over being worked by Pillman, he still seems desperate to try and "work the boys" as revenge even today. I don't think it's a coincidence that Russo, McMahon, and Bischoff come crashing down the microsecond they get control. Easy to forget that McMahon lost 80% of his audience less than a year after WCW folded. That's XFL/WBF drop-off numbers.

That’s incorrect!! This is the actual 25th anniversary. The 1st anniversary was in 2001 (one), second was 2002 (two), and so on!! There is no way that this is the 24th anniversary
