The reveal of bully will always be incredible.

Just a quick but not quick ramble: During the Final Resolution 2012 review you guys had a brief chat about Velvet Sky/Bully Ray dating and it reminded me of some stuff. Velvet was in a pretty long term relationship with Chris Sabin at the time all of this was going on (since like 2009). Then in July 2013 when TNA wanted to recreate their own version of Daniel Bryan, they had Sabin take the title off Bully Ray but then he dropped it back to Bully like a month later because the execution of everything was horrible and Sabin wasn’t getting over. TNA then turned the Sabin and Velvet IRL relationship into a storyline where Sabin eventually turned heel on her and stuff. They broke up IRL in 2014 which led to the storyline ending and then Velvet pretty quickly got together with Bully Ray. I remember Sabin making some tweets and stuff about it that led to speculation that Velvet cheated on Sabin with Bully and that Bully had used his backstage pull to halt Sabin’s push. Then Sabin was out of the company by May 2014. TLDR: Chris Sabin and Velvet Sky were dating long term. Velvet may have cheated on Sabin with Bully Ray which led to Sabin leaving the company in 2014.

Id love to hear Luke's thoughts on Warcraft. As someone with an unhealthy relationship with WoW I didnt hate it *that* much. And considering Luke's previous negative experience with WoW I imagine that review would be scathing and hilarious.

I was spoiled getting two Nexus ones each month! This was still great though. [Ken Anderson Noises]

**Why Fans Stay Loyal to Wrestling Brands** I want to share my perspective on why many fans, myself included, don’t easily switch to different wrestling promotions. I’ve been a lifelong fan of WCW and WWE. Over the years, I’ve sampled other shows, but they often felt smaller in scale. I enjoy Ring of Honor when I can catch it, but its inconsistent scheduling makes it difficult to follow regularly. That same issue is what caused me to miss out on ECW back in the day—without a consistent weekly slot, it was hard to stay engaged. WCW and WWE, by contrast, have always been reliable in their scheduling, which built long-term loyalty. Another key factor is star power. WWE consistently carried that “must-watch” aura. When the NWO invaded WCW, it was electric—one of the hottest storylines in wrestling history. Sting and Vampiro became my heroes, and their paint wars, along with Vampiro’s promos, remain some of my favorite WCW memories. The Undertaker’s “dark ministry” era and the Brood also felt mythical, larger than life. Not every star resonated with me. For example, Stone Cold Steve Austin never connected—I found his character more grating than compelling, and his matches often felt overly protected. By contrast, TNA’s struggles were less about creative direction and more about finances. They simply couldn’t retain top-tier talent, which limited their long-term impact. Fans, much like sports supporters, don’t abandon their teams when things aren’t perfect. Instead, they stay loyal and often try to influence change, whether through forums, chants, or collective support. We’ve seen this work in WWE with movements like Kofimania, the Austin vs. Hart double-turn, and even the build toward WrestleMania 40. Fans can and do shape outcomes. Personally, I’ve always been a Rhodes fan. Dusty, Dustin, and Cody have all been central figures in my wrestling journey. I followed Cody to AEW, where I felt he was the face of the company, and when he returned to WWE, it felt like a true homecoming. That’s why I push back against the idea that fans are “wrong” or “stupid” for being loyal to WWE—or to any brand. Fandom is about connection, history, and identity. Oli, as a comic book reader, you’ll understand this: you don’t abandon a series just because a storyline doesn’t resonate. You wait it out, knowing that new writers and new arcs will eventually reshape the narrative. Wrestling fandom works the same way.

Man, I still hate how they did Ethan Page as NXT Champion. The knockout pin was so dumb, he should have won it off of Trick in his first match, and Punk helping Trick win it back was no good for anybody except a moment for Punk. But maybe now that Punk is champ, Page could challenge in a call up? Either filler challenge while still NA champ, or get called up in the Rumble and challenge at, let's say, Elimination Chamber.

Josh LeBlanc

I’ve heard y’all mention Robbie E was doing the gimmick before Ryder a few times now. It’s incorrect. Zack Ryder had the gimmick before the Jersey Shore TV show in 2009 on ECW. He’s called out Robbie E before for stealing his gimmick.
