Controversial take here: Really would like to see a little bit of “new generation era” style wrestlers. That era had some good characters like Mankind, Undertaker, stone cold, diesal, hhh etc. Each character seemed unique. These days everybody is more or less the same style and look. Your thoughts?

Have to admit guys, you’ve outdone yourself with the corporate synergy you’ve got going on. Recently at my workplace there was an incident where the fire alarm needed to be pulled. Upon inspection, instead of an actual switch to pull there was a sign that said “In Case Of Emergency, Scan QR Code”, so unsure of what else to do we scanned the code. Once we scanned it the alarms started playing the most recent episode of your podcast. Unfortunately, the entire office found it too captivating and we lost 90% of our staff due to the fact they insisted on staying in the building for the entire runtime of the podcast. That said, those of us that survived are now subscribed, so I would consider it a smash success. Keep up the good work gentlemen, love the show.

Aside from Je'Von vs Gunther & Reed vs Hayes, I've not really been bothered with all of the first round Matches. The tournament so far has been meh to be honest. A fun and simple fix could have been that to enter the tournament you have to have never faced Cena in a 1 on 1 match before, this way you could have had more interesting matchups for the tournament.

My fantasy booking is that all those "reports" and rumors that got all yall thinking its a foregone conclusion that Gunther wins this tournament, was just a ruse and Jevon beats him in the first round. But if it doesnt happen im not mad. Long as Young OG gets to shine in the match

Maxine to beat Becky lynch via AJ Lee interference/distraction, if they are going to do the Lee/Lynch match I don’t think it needs the title. The “mid card” title should be used to help elevate up and coming talent and Maxine has improved in the ring

I’m shocked that the past few weeks no wrestling podcast have thought of Jey Uso, turning on the Babyface team and have the vision win wargames. And become a leader of the vision and have him run the vision like how Roman ran the bloodline. Have Bron and Bronson dominate. And build Wrestlemania Main Event of Roman vs Jey vs Punk for the world title. Also I think WWE in 2025 is bad because of the Rock it started at Bad blood for a dumb appearance and then he did nothing after that.

Jey uso is ruining Raw / WWE for me. He is dreadful in all of his matches and his roles, and he feels forced. He is just an entrance and a chant, but they push him too hard. I’m in the generation who grew up with cena and i now see what yall saw in the 2010s. I also feel the same about Cody (even though he’s good in ring and on the mic) he’s bland and he never feels like he deserves his spot. Even when he came back at number 30 in the rumble - there is never anything for him to overcome to earn his opportunity in my opinion

Solo shouldn’t have won his match. ONE of the surprises should’ve had a shock. Also, Ziggler should’ve been pushed for a small TNA push on main roster. He deserves it, one of my favourites in ring and charisma wise

I may be the only one, but for such a big raw with so much happening, still feels kinda deflating. Its like you've packed so much into one show that nothing really got time to breathe. AJ's return felt rushed. Brock got no time to shine really before Roman came out, Putting up the credits when there's still 10 minutes left of the show is an *interesting play* - fool me once with the credits, shame on you, fool me 1500 times, you should probably find a new way to suprise people

Thought this raw was a bit of a disappointment. Jevon vs Gunther was great but truly the pacing of these shows makes it impossible for me to get into much of what is happening. FOUR MATCHES IN 2.5 HOURS? and the formula for those matches dictates about 6 minutes of ads in the first ten minutes. Some exciting stuff on this episode but Raw is a dreadful product live.

Easily the best raw since 2024 when Cody got his ass beat by the rock in the rain. Great moments, fun Cena tag match, good return to form for Gunther and showcase for Jevon, nice return spot for ziggler (only low point being sikoa’s win), genuine shocking moment with maxxxine winning IC championship, and the final men’s face off was a whole lotta chaos in all the right ways. I honestly was sad that it ended, wished we were back to three hours (just for this one episode don’t worry lol.)

This show was amazing. The ziggler return and the women’s intercontinental championship match especially was awesome. The match really showcased the progress maxxine has made and the return of AJ to cause the shock title change was a really good touch. I’m now wondering what they’re gonna do with the championship from here. I would like to see her prove that she deserved that win and keep the belt for a bit but where would Becky and AJ end up if she does?

I think of all the surprises and matches, I think we can all agree, Gunther getting Symphony No. 9 back is such a big moment. Felt a bit weird since we haven’t heard it in so long but great that the very bad def rebel nonsense is cleared away from my big sweaty slapping man. Cheers.

Question, since Cena and dom are having a rematch for the IC belt does that mean Cena loses the best at Survivor Series and if it is Gunther any snme then that means we won’t get another IC run, granted if he wins. I’m happy about that, I feel like Gunther has outgrown the IC belt and it’d be a reversion of his character

I am most likely in the minority here, but despite all the big things happening on the show, I didnt really get excited by anyting. Maybe I am falling out of love with wrestling or maybe its just because my fav is currently injured but all the big spots going to part-timers made everything feel so inconsequential to me. For me it also doesnt help that none of them excite me, except for maybe AJ, but her return-momentum I feel has been somewhat lost. Will always still listen to you guys <3

I really thought Reigns wasn't going to be in WarGames because I feel it's kinda inconsistent with everything he said before. He doesn't want to see his cousins before Christmas, he doesn't want to help other people, he isn't friend with Cody or Punk.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel that Cena’s tournament is a bit anti climatic. The surprises have been good, but none have progressed so it feels a bit pointless. Add some tension at least by having one of the surprise names make it to the next round. Everyone else in the tournament feels very mid card, minus gunther, making it all the more predictable when he wins. This realistically should have had bigger names to make you question who really could be cena’s last ever opponent rather than telling us from the get go.

3 things are guaranteed in this life, death, taxes and Reigns vs Lesnar. Pretty much the whole show was great my only dislike is Nikki Bella seemingly copying Becky Lynch’s homework but changing it a little bit.

I feel like they decided the winner of the tournament before deciding on the whole "SNME is NXT vs Main Roster" thing and then they refused to pivot. as fun as Gunther vs Cena will be, having the whole night be about showing off NXT stars only for the main event to have no NXT stars does a disservice to the NXT stars that will be there.

I would love to see the relationship between Jess (referee) and Becky Lynch be the women’s version of Triple H vs Earl Hebner from the attitude era. She's gotten really into WWE since it came to Netflix and has been loving this run against Becky and doesn't even care if she drops it a week later, quote "Just let her win it Triple H". Best episode of raw in a long time. I would have had Ziggler and Ryder the other way round for the New York pop but still an amazing show. The ending was chaotic enough to be entertaining but not over the top.

There's something about a MSG show that just brings a level of nostalgia and fire to the presentation that just gives goosebumps to an old fan like myself (maybe im biased, I can point to the seat where I sat in 2000 on my birthday where my mother melted into a gibbering puddle when Y2J's fireworks went off for the main event) But I was not expecting the nostalgia of an authority-era WWE Raw though. 6 man tag with Cena, rey-rey and 1-800-Sheamus, suprise entrant turns out to be a Wild Zigglypuff who still manages to lose (his zig-zag was not effective), AJ Lee is playing lesbian-pollen mindgames while Nikki Bella heels it up like her sister should have died in the womb, and the traditional babyfaces brawl with the baddies to end the show cause we need to wrap up the final teammates. That's not to say it wasn't a fun episode (Gunther has his old music back, all is forgiven!) and I'm intrigued if Maxine gets her own story/feud or will still factor in Becky's but what we all really want to see going forward is obvious....a backstage interaction between Nikki Bella and Lyra Valkyrie to see who can chew the scenery more!

It would make Cena's title reign feel a bit worthless but I dont think they care considering he only won it for the "moment"

Becky is confirming herself as the GOAT week on week I am bias, as she is my forever favourite, but her performance is always the best on the show and she is bringing up the roster around her and squashing hogan comparisons

God I hate the what chant. Alexa and then the heals cut really good promos and didn’t deserve to get the “what treatment”. On a more positive note, the Alexa - Charlotte story has been my favourite story in WWE since it started all the way back after Backlash. Every segment has had a purpose and there’s been so much subtle visual story telling. Their story is far more compelling than either women’s world title scene. If they don’t get the tag belts back, do you think they become friends with singles championships? They did tease Charlotte and Jade . Also, it’s not like they’re doing much with the US title anyway, maybe Alexa can elevate it. What are your thoughts?

Is it just me, or is Becky Lynch's new persona extremely close to MJFs Trump-esque Americana character from last year? Calling the crowd meth heads, making light of the recently deceased Ozzy Osbourne. It's my favourite Becky, but I do wonder if I like it because it's close to MJF.
