Jericho returns at the Rumble, wins it, and beats Punk at Mania after smashing him through a “real glass” windshield.

Calcote Comics

Oba Femi is called up, given a mega push, only for Cody to bury him in another ‘But America Awesome’ storyline akin to his Agogo AEW feud. This kickstarts the fan resentment towards Cody, and the long drawn out heel turn.

Tino RSA

Wrestling wise: Would like to see Drew beat Cody at Royal Rumble setting up: Drew vs Roman for wwe title, and Cody vs Orton grudge match at mania. Otherwise any chance we could see an iron man match in the future of wrestlemania

Jose Morel

I think takeshita is going to win the Continental championship this year. Next year okada and takeshita will unify the championships again and before 2026 is over have them separate again.

Stewart Meehan

1: next year will end with a joint PLE by WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW and CMLL 2: dominick mysterious will be a face world champion this time next year 3: Sol Ruca will pull a page and win specifically the wwe women's championship on her debut

“HE RAN” Aaron Hanrahan

Triple H keeps getting booed when he shows up on TV Shawn replaces him and then Cm Punk takes over NXT. None of this will happen 😅

The WWE X AEW crossover will happen in 2026 for the AJ Styles retirement run, and end with having AJ Styles vs Kenny Omega as AJ's last match.

Al D

Alister Black & Priest become Tag Champs.

Eric#13

1) gunther will retire Brock and AJ and then face Randy in a career vs world title match, in a battle of the legend killers. 2) Austin Theory wins a world title before Bron Breakker. 3) Timothée Chalamet has a match.

Fire Valley Games

Brxdley.h

Lucien Whitman

Bronn Breakker defeats Lesnar at wrestle mania, then spends the rest of the year dawdling in the midcard

David Kleberg IV

Gunther will continue his run of retirement matches by beating both Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles in their last matches. This will lead to him finally being beaten in a retirement match by…Chris Jericho.

Alfie Appleton

Gunther goes on a mad run, retiring Styles at mania, retiring Lesnar at his favourite ppv of all time wrestlepalooza. Goldberg comes out of retirement again and they main event MAIN EVENT where Gunther squashes him once more. Gunther decides enough is enough and wants to retire himself in an open challenge at summerslam. He's waiting in the Ring holding some slimjims and then Triple H's music hits. Joshua Bax

Dirty Dom turns babyface after retiring Rey in a Hair vs Mask match at WrestlePalooza

Lee Bauer

I think the Gunther Retirement Plan will be in full effect. Brock Lesnar, AJ styles and Chris Jericho. But the final boss of legend killers, maybe setting it up for 2027 WrestleMania but the inevitable match with Randy Orton. If built properly I think it could be a marquee match. Also, I feel like this was dropped but what if Alexia Bliss joins the Wyatt Sicks, becoming a terror on smackdown. They could make a run at a lot of titles probably all mid card titles, which is a little sad I feel like it's not doing enough for Bray's Legacy. Bray Wyatt is one of my favorite wreslers of all time and I feel like they should be able to make a good run to cement the Wyatt Legacy.

Harrison Earle

Kevin Knight vs Speedball Mike Bailey will be the final of the Owen Heart Cup Knight will win turning heel in the process and will set up to face Will Ospreay at All In for the men’s world title

Vectron44

WrestleMania night one will be headlined by Vacquer vs Ripley vs Sky

Red Claw

John Cena will become RAW GM.

Yeetus Skeetus

There will be more PLE Main event women's matches than men. Also since CM Punk mentioned him on raw there will be a promo off between Scott Steiner Vs CM Punk. One More, Vince Mcmahon shows up on screen and has a match.

Jerry Osullivan

There will be a televised show with WWE, TNA, and AEW contracted stars on it. There will be a worked (or possibly very real) power struggle for creative control between HHH and the Rock booked throughout 2025. Shane McMahon wrestles a match with one or more of his sons (as a team) at WrestleMania.

Johnny Stemple

Hangman and Swerve finally passionately make out then hang someone together to tie the knot and then ride off into the sunset on a horse. Also unrelated Bryan Danielson comes back to beat the shit out of don callis

That Welsh Guy

Cody keeps the belt for another year. Changes nothing about his character and slowly looses the fans interest

wordlifefan9

Jericho starts his WWE version of the learning tree (The Experience Bush) with Je’von and Leon Slater and just drowns in the mid-card vortex after a one month main event feud to “get them over”.

Connor Augenstein

Tommaso Ciampa turns on Johnny Gargano and we get another chapter of their feud on the main roster. And it’s ultimately feud of the year.

Aaron Davies-Friend

ROH will get a TV Deal Jericho will remain with AEW and become a creative consultant alongside Bryan Danielson ESPN will terminate the WWE PLE deal after Mania and WWE will go back to Peacock for less money. Saudi's will run low on money and fail to pay for one on the three event in 2026 causing WWE pull Mania 43 and try and find a Mania 43 location at the last minute

Netflix buys WB and AEW starts streaming on Netflix. This causes both major companies to do collaborative shows with AEW becoming the top company due to Netflix's power. WWE invade AEW 2001 style and the new invasion storyline begins. Next year at world's end, the wrestling world will end with a 5 on 5 elimination match. Team AEW will consist of Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley & Kyle Fletcher. And in the style of 2001, Team WWE will consist of Adam Page, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Samoa Joe and Jack Perry. Match ends in a double DQ when Nikki Bella interferes.

Fred Goins

Andrade returns to the WWE to form a tag team with Santos Escobar

Ieuan Hurford

Chris Jericho will have a barbed wire massacre match with Akira tozawa and r truth at Wrestlemania to crown the inaugural European champion

Mani Umaria

1. Because WWE are late with everything, they’ll have CM Punk and Roman Reigns form a tag team called the ‘Zebros’ for one night only on a SNME. 2. Chris Jericho will cause WWE viewing figures to tank after an initial upsurge. He’ll then persuade Tripz and TKO to allow Fozzy to have a 30 mins live set on an episode of raw to get the viewers back…. Ratings tank further! 3. Kairi has an absolute break down and destroys the entire women’s roster but by using stealth, much like the main protagonist from ‘Ghost of Yotei’. Lots of either great or cringe backstage skits ensue! Asuka decides to appeal to Kairi’s better nature but Kairi instead kidnaps Asuka and holds her captive at the top of WWE headquarters, the place where Asuka had her great MITB triumph. Iyo saves the day by hitting Kairi with the dinosaur skull from Vinny Mac’s office, it was in the trash as they’d finally got round to clearing the office out!

Mr. Samuel Scratch

After he fails to win an Oscar, The Rock will lead an invasion of XFL talent into the WWE, creating the first pro-wrestling/American football federation. He'll abandon the storyline after Marvel offers him a role as Punisher 2099.

JoeyG

Putting my tinfoil hat on for this one. At the end of his 2026 Hof speech John Cena will announce he is running for president in 2028.

Aanish

2026 is the year wrestling gets political. We’ve kind of already seen the seeds of this with WWE cozying up to the Trump admin and AEW taking a far more liberal stance. At the time of writing this, Mick Foley announced he would not be resigning his legends deal with WWE. My prediction is that we will see multiple people leave WWE due to political reasons.

Evan Reich

AEW does a show in Saudi Arabia

goose

2026 is the year AI is fully integrated into the WWE product and they proudly tout this on their programming (tout lol). AI adr on commentary from the past, a public partnership with Open AI and Sora will be announced and AI advertising featuring younger AI wrestlers of the past with wrestlers of today will all happen in 2026. To combat the negative press Triple H will spout some nonsense about how this all for the fans and that’s just ‘what we do’. Then the stock price will go up. Enjoy 2026 lads!

Andrew Baylis

Miz gets released from WWE after Wrestlemania, then appears in AEW by the end of the year. He then starts a feud with MJF, which after several heated worked shoot promos in the build, ends in a match at Revolution 2027 where MJF wins in a finger poke of doom style swerve.

Josh Darby

Orange Cassidy moves to WWE…. Becomes WWE Champion. (I’m Just dreaming of him being a world champ anywhere because it doesn’t seem possible in AEW)

James Wright

Gunther finishes the year having retired AJ Styles, Chris Jericho & Brock Lesnar, leading into a major feud with Randy Orton as former Legend Killer vs modern day career ender!

darth Jmarks

Sami to Aew wins the AEW championship on his first night against Kyle fletcher who beats hangman

Lendell Brenson

In 2026 Bron Breakker continues to “have a lot to learn”. By SummerSlam Bron publicly asks for his release out of frustration but is not granted it immediately. Outrage begins among wrestling fans over the way Bron has been treated/booked over the past few months. He is eventually granted his release, but has to wait due to his 90-day non compete clause. However, the non-compete clause expires in time for AEW “At World’s End”. He makes his debut with the company as the surprise opponent for AEW World Champion Adam Copeland, squashing him and winning the title in Adam Copeland’s final match.

Versek

Dom win the rumble and beats Cody for the title at mania in a double turn.

quatmaniac

1. WWE will bring back the Europian Chamionship 2. An AEW star still under contract will apprear on WWE programing, in person. 3. Brandy Rhodes will wrestle a match for WWE

Brent

Drew Mcintyre will lose to Cody for the WWE Championship once again. This time however he goes dark for a month skipping the Royal Rumble only to appear at TNA. He immediately wins the TNA World Championship and slowly gets the entire TNA roster to do a full invasion of the WWE since he views both Raw and Smackdown as hostile work places. Drew gets control of the WWE and gives himself both the World and WWE titles.

Charlie Wood

Gunther will retire AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton throughout 2026

Dmangamr

2026 will be a make or break year for The Wyatt Sicks.

Vic Cutting

A person currently holding a wwe championship will leave for aew

Vic Cutting

Samoa Joe will not be wrestling at the end of the year

Casey Wells

Drew McIntyre fails another wwe title match and gets himself released. Drew Galloway is now, All Elite

Big Papi 42

Austin Theory and Dominik Mysterio will both be world champions

Big Papi 42

Solo Sikoa and the MFT’s have a big year and are featured every week and people start fantasy booking big things just for the OG bloodline plus Fatu to team up and squash them all leaving it all pointless

Yash Agrawal

Undertaker comes out of retirement to announce one last match against Gunther.

Faheem_786

Oli Davis will finally release the inshitification of WWE video that he's been working on and it will be 7 hours long because WWE has lost all credibility and dignity for profits

Brandon

HHH returns for a retirement match and beats Gunther.

Pogo is here

Gunther's follow up is fumbled but still has great matches. also aew will do women's anarchy in the arena and the song they play will be Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill.

Kyle Wiebelhaus

In 2026, Gunther will retire AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton, leading to him eventually retiring Vince McMahon which will end up turning Gunther babyface and ruining everything. Because the world needs to see Vince McMahon get chopped by Gunther

Duncan Jay

there will be a TNA championship change hands with a main roster star in the men and women's divsion at wrestlemania

James Davidson

Kyle Fletcher also leaves the Don Callis family to pursue World Title and teams with Omega and the Young Bucks - whon all turn on Fletcher and join Dom Callis

Jason P Hawver

Joe Hendry dethrones Lija Dragunov for the US title.

Michael

Oba Femi will enter the royal rumble, break the elimination record and pin both Roman and Cody at Mania to win the title… and have monster squash matches in every title defense for the entire year

Liam

Gunther retires AJ at the Rumble, Rey at Mania, Brock at SummerSlam and Randy at Survivor Series. Once finished, he positions the mangled bodies of each in the ring. The feed cuts to a camera directly above the ring, revealing that Gunther and his victims have now formed a QR code which takes you to this special episode of the Wrestletalk podcast.

Edward Reardon

Shane McMahon will bring back Raw Underground.

BalorFigs UK

The Rock wins the Royal Rumble match

Roy Wickiser

Oli Davis will poop his pants on a live stream. No one but him will know if it was on accident.

Toribio Figueroa

AJ styles will be All Elite after his "retirement"

Lily Petal

Ok this is as wild and unpredictable as I could think and I know none of it will happen because HHH and WWE have forgotten what wild and unpredictable mean. Drew defeats Cody as WM for the championship and retains it for the rest of 2026 having banger matches throughout. Roman, Seth, and a returning Jon Moxley team up one last time at WM to take out the Vision consisting of Logan Paul, his brother, and Austin Theory. Sheamus wins the IC belt at Summer Slam earning his Grand Slam. Gunther retires AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jerico, and Randy Orton but gets his ass handed to him by Oba Femi at the last show of 2026. A returning Mercedes Mone joins Bayley, Becky, and Charlotte to take on Stephanie Vaquer, Guilia, Roxanne Perex, and Raquel Rodriguez in War Games and the 4 Horsewomen are defeated.

Linnea Perry

Hear me out... PLE in the Las Vegas Sphere. Advertisement everywhere...

Tahl Tone

My predictions is the main wwe champions will be cody rhodes cm punk jade cargill and Stephanie vaquer. No saying the title won't change hands at all but I think we will have the exact same champions by the end of next year because they're too scared to commit to anyone else

Kvng JC

PAC leaves aew and returns to the fed late in the year and immediately has a world championship match against then wwe champion Gunther

Andy Gossett

Shane McMahon and Chris Jericho are both in the Royal Rumble. Shane eliminates Jericho and begins taunting him about it on RAW. This leads to a surprisingly okay match on night 1 of Wrestlemania.

Link Campbell

AEW will be cancelled from TNT due to the sale, but will find new life on CBeebies.

KidCutty

My wacky and wild prediction is that the IWC will love mostly everything from WWE and AEW in 2026 instead of hating EVERYTHING like in 2025 😏 also that streamers wont focus on the negative hot takes instead of the positive ones 😏 Now THATS a wild take 😂🤣😂

Rosander

I have 2 "wild" predictions: 1. Oba Femi Wins the Rumble, Gunther wins the Chamber, Bron is the WHC. Triple threat Meat (in the middle of night 1). Gunther pins Bron, Oba v Gunther is the feud until Summerslam, where Oba is crowned champion. To make it more specific, Bron losses because of Seth interference, Seth v Bron, and because the story cant die, v Punk also until Summerslam, where Bron dubble-pin "their old asses". 2. Gunther Retires both Randy Orton and AJ Styles during the year. Orton at the SNME 2 weeks before (or after) Summerslam, and AJ at the last SNME of 2026. This will lead to more heat and nothing more, because moments, not story. Randy returns at the 2027 Rumble.

Jared McCullough

I think this is a good balance of "wild and wacky" and "might actually happen": WWE buys Pro Wrestling Noah

Tommy overkill

Wild and wacky you say???……….. Jim Cornette excepts and signs a contract to be part of the writing team for JCW to work under Vince Russo, squash their beef and get along like nothing happened…..

Dukect

Triple h will be let go as shawn michaels will be gone as well. As the rock will have his people doing the storylines of WWE

Gareth Atkinson

Chad gable returns at the royal rumble only to be eliminated by el grande Americano which leads to a feud including matches at Wrestlemania, a AAA main event and finish the feud at Summerslam

Connor

Kenny Omega will have to take another long (3 month +) Hiatus for medical concerns, he will be written off in an Anarchy in The Arena match teaming with the Young Bucks & Konosuke Takeshita vs Okada, Fletcher, Mark Davis & the debuting newest member of the Don Callis family - Michael Oku. Oku will then feud with a returning Ospreay all the way to Wembley Stadium

Jake Miskelly

Keith Lee vs Chad Gable happens at Summerslam, Grande Americano interference

Alex Witherden

Triple H will be blamed for a drop in ratings and fan engagement. Ousted and replaced as Head of Creative by The Rock and/or Brian Gewirtz. The Rock will then build to his match against Roman in 2027. Meanwhile, in AEW, the WBD deal causes chaos, instability and unease. There will be a mass exodus of the midcard talent due to frustrations and the fear of AEW's future. In response, Tony Khan introduces more titles. Realising this didn't work, Khan relinquish Head of Creative of ROH, which is given to Danielson. At the end of the year, rumours will come out that whatever network AEW is on are interested in bringing in Paul Heyman to replace Khan as Head Booker. TNA and NJPW is also there.

Felixious Zheng

Hangman Adam Page will go on a losing streak, where masked bandits attack him after or during matches, culminating in him regaining the world title in a cage match (or similar stipulation) that keeps them out for a change. He will celebrate only to be attacked after the show once again by some masked men, who lay him out completely. Then, an all-black dressed cowboy will ride on a black horse onto the stage, cowboy hat and bandana covering his face as he pulls his bandana down to reveal his face, suddenly, SORRY ABOUT YOUR DAMN LUCK blasts through the speakers. That’s right, it's Cowboy James Storm vs Hangman Adam Page in a YEAR LONG feud of pure Cowboy S-Word.

JJ Bittenbinder

After UFC has done it, WWE will have an event at the White House. Capitol Punishment 2.0 or something lol

Dmangamr

It will be the make or break year for The Wyatt Sicks. The initial hype is gone and now they need to either have an incredible run or they’ll atrophy. I wanna see Uncle Howdy vs LA Knight

Tyler

2 predictions one more predictable than the other 1 Bayley to aew 2 Oba to slip like titus o’neill did on the way to the rumble this year ik bayley to aew is outrageous

Tariq Ali

Gotta go for a fun one and a less fun one. Fun: CM Punk appears on tna impact in 2026 to boost ratings. Less fun: WWE meddling with Saudi and the trump administration leads to wide spread unhappiness within the roster and walk outs

tjsmith3

Mercedes Mone will do a full losing tour. Meaning, she will return to each promotion and lose her belt to someone. After losing all 13 belts, she will win the AEW world title.

tjsmith3

There will be at least ONE week in 2026 in which Impact on AMC has a higher viewership than Dynamite.

Rick Sanchez

AEW will hold a PPV at arena Mexico and Bandido will win the world championship from MJF.

Coyotekid

Freddie prince jr. finally launches his wrestling promotion and it becomes the #1 wrestling promotion in north america 👌

Morgan Leggett

Triple Hs booking becomes so repetitive and complacent that they accidentally book the same friends to enemies story in the womens division with the same wrestlers, twice in one year.

Mr. Iguana is #AllElite.

Princess Laura

Mercedes Moné goes back to WWE with all her belts with an army of AEW wrestlers. She leads the charge saying "I collected all the belts that All Elite Wrestling can offer me, but it's not enough. I want more, I need more. As one of the original Four Horsewomen that brought Women's Wrestling out of the ditches a decade ago, I'm going to remind you where the real Moné in wrestling is."

George Fitzpatrick

Both AAA (from the purchase) and TNA (from the working agreement) have their branding and wrestlers featured in WWE 2k26. Oli Davis makes his first pick in Monday Night War - Mr. Iguana. He’s got an iguana! For an actual wrestling one, Britt Baker debuts in NXT as a surprise entrant in the Iron Survivor match, winning to become the #1 contender to Blake Monroe

“Burly” Rob Burwell

Kevin Owens will not wrestle in 2026, but instead comes out after Sami wins the World Title at Mania 43 in Saudi Arabia to hug and then turn on Sami like in his NXT debut. Massive pop for him coming out to then swerve everybody to turn on Sami

ConkliOdd

Joe Hendry shows up at Firbidden Door

Luke Kelly

Bron Breakker becomes World heavyweight champion on January 5th and holds the title all year before Mr. MITB cashes in on him on the final Raw before his reign would last a year, who is Mr. MITB you ask? Dominik Mysterio, Dom vs Bron WrestleMania 43

Wahab Fares

Triple H has a match and wins

Jonathan Davies

1. Oli and Luke recreate the Billy and Chuck wedding angle in an indie promotion. Allowing Oli to claim his wedding suit as a business purchase, enabling him to buy the Enterprise D Lego set. 2. AEW announce a stadium show the weekend of WrestleMania Saudi and invite all indie promotions to participate 3. WWE will sign a vast number of top talent from TNA. Whilst a high number of talent leave TNA disgruntled by the creative vision due to WWE partnership. Leading to the WWE no longer seeing a benefit in the partnership and ending the deal between the two brands. This will cause rumours of TNA's demise. Spoiler: it won't. 4. Jon Moxley will get his vacation. 5. WWE will crown a WWE or World Champion that was born in the 2000's.

Brody Allsep

AJ Styles beats Dom for the Intercontinental Championship. This, along with the short lived Tag Team Championship reign with Dragon Lee, makes him a 2x Grand Slam Champion. He does go to TNA to compete for the X-Division Championship, but his final feud will be with 2x Grand Slam Champion The Miz, who will retire him with a win.

Gabi Vazquez

Tony khan will wrestle in a street fight against mjf for the aew title

Brody Allsep

After a poor handling of John Cena's retirement year, as well as the Intercontinental Championship matches they had, making his debut in AAA, and beating Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship, Juan Cena.
