A+, two dope title matches with one being my early MOTY and all the undercard matches were good to excellent. Grand Slam Saturday night is going to be a baby PPV if tonight's any indication.

Pogo is here

Thekla the toxic punk queen won the tittle it took a bit to long but i hope they give her a great title run and (starts banging the drum again) GIVE THE WOMEN MORE TIME PLS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TONY

Amomantra94

Excellent show tonight! Started strong with the Swerve and Kenny stuff and ended strong with the women’s title strap match. Ciampa vs Fletcher was incredible too, even if I’m not thrilled about the outcome and follow up

Brody Allsep

Great show with Great wrestling. Happy for Thekla and what comes next.

Brody Allsep

Ciampa getting less than 2 weeks (and not even a custom belt) makes it feel a bit of a "just do a moment" thing. Still plenty more they will do with him, and hopefully Fletcher finally gets his pink TNT Championship belt.

Godzilladreamer

I understand not every title reign needs to be a long one, but I really wanted Kris to have a near year long reign where she drops it to Willow. I'm happy for Thekla but feel like there was a missed opportunity.

Brody Allsep

Also overall, bad night to be a "Killer" champion. Psycho Killer lost, Cosmic Killer lost, and Living Legend Killers left lying.

Findlay

Nothing to do with Dynamite but was watching a video of how Stone Cold entrances changed over the years and totally forgot he had two completely different themes during the alliance era. Jarring

Love fletcher but I wish Ciampa could’ve held the title longer. First time in a while where a new presentation took a guy I wasn’t very into and made him feel immediately like a top tier star.

Rob Dragon

Just got back into watching AEW tonight because I have tickets to Dynasty in April! It will be the first live wrestling show I'll be going to with my kids! Anyway, the show tonight was entertaining as I expected, but the main event was conflicting for me as a fan of both. Great matches all around, good to see Private Party back as well!

Carlos arcos

Great show!! First time watching in a while . Fletcher didn’t need the tittle thought he should be moving up but still great match!

Rob Buck

Loved fletcher vs Ciampa! Would I have liked a longer reign for Ciampa? Sure! But I can also see the idea that he won it in his debut with the company, and this frees him up to find a proper first feud while giving Fletcher a much needed showing as a tough, relentless star who is more than just a vain heel.

Brent

Thekla needed the win for sure. She was dangerously close to becoming a pretender to the Women's Title forever but now the AEW Women's Title has become toxic.

LeQueerious

Absolutely banging match by Kyle and Ciampa, however... Im not sure what im more frustrated with, the fact that Ciampa was a transitional champion for yet another Mark Briscoe match that didn't need a title, or the fact that Kyle kicked out of 4 knee strikes and a brainbuster in the span of 4 minutes. Now I'm not usually one to complain about protecting finishers or too many kickouts but that felt REALLY excessive in the final stretch there. Praying Ciampa will continue to make an impact over there as he is one of my all time favorites. Truly a one of a kind talent.

Don

Darby's storyline is becoming Abduct Everyone Wrestling and I get the feeling that PP (Private Party) will become (O)PP(s) before long. Great show from top to bottom. Felt like a ppv with all the banger matches. Ciampa losing was a surprise and I hope the follow up with him is good. Thekla wins just before going home in a great match. Wait, she's Austrian? I thought Luke said she was Australian... Fastest 2.25 hours on television

Ben Pavett

I don’t often watch matches through fully coz I can’t concentrate all that well. Fletcher and Ciampa put on a barn burner and I couldn’t look away. I am such a mark for Ciampa at the moment. Loved Ciampa during black and gold NXT days and I think AEW is the right place for him. I’m not sure how I feel about Ciampa losing the title already but I can see him moving into the main event scene within the next few months or maybe even weeks. I am calling it now, Ciampa will have held the AEW World Title at least once by September.

Michael Mannino

Isn't this what an episode of a wrestling program is supposed to "feel" like? Variety, story, delivery, character development, and a consistent balance of wrestling. Critically, it makes you want to watch the next program, in this case a very promising GrandSlam. On Ciampa v Fletcher I think acknowledging that getting a match like this on TV feels special, in a must watch kind of way. It brings Osprey to mind; how would you judge AEWs (and the wrestlers) ability to manage this period without Will?

Chris

The TNT and AEW championship storyline feel so varied at the moment, like they could change hands at any time on any show and it feels like such a breath of fresh air. Its hooked me in so much ive booked hotels for London for August and am going to my first live shows, ill be buying tickets for all in and have booked for the rev pro show on the Saturday as a bonus

SirFoop

The Kenny/Swerve promo was awesome. Sometimes i forget how good Kenny is and i cannot wait to see this match!

Callum Lucas

I love the Young Bucks… but FTR/Young Bucks every year or so shows me they haven’t really built many other big teams in that division. Where are Cope/Christian? At this point they’ve spent so much time out I just want them to come back and get that feud over with so we can move on with the division!

Wayne Proctor

Not sure I agree with such a short reign for Ciampa just getting into AEW. Match was good just feels a little like they brushed over his loss to be another Briscoe vs Fletcher. Why not least make it a 3 way and shake it up

Vic Cutting

incredible episode of dynamite, but i am curious what happens with the tnt championship. so bricsoe won it, dropped it to ciampa for like 10 days, then kyle fletcher won it again and rechallenged, does all this hot potato nonsense make the belt worse? love you guys, jam that jam

Bruce Yuchaginikoi

tonys obsession with making wrestlers "prove" that they'll let others go over is quite detrimental to the booking at times. It was a great match, but it made ciampa look like a massive chump for instantly losing weeks into his reign. Hopefully it works out long term but for now I think it's the wrong call.

Peter Siddorn

Do you think Kyle Fletcher is at risk of becoming the Bron Breaker of AEW? A guy who most fans are behind and feel should be on a more featured higher position on the card yet for some reason the company is not pulling the trigger on and risk losing the moment to truly make them a top star for the company moving forward?

CB

AEW continues to prove to be the most reliably entertaining wrestling show. The Kyle and Ciampa match was excellent, with the last third of near falls having me on the edge of my seat. Do you think the short reign is a means to turn Ciampa heel? Maybe he could cost Briscoe at Grand Slam or attack Kyle after the match to get the hometown heat?

Kevin Fleuriot

I love seeing Bryan leave the commentary desk when Mox was here. I always felt like there was something left on the table between those two, atleast storyline speaking.

Ilan Woll

Has AEW overused the false finish? It seemed like Ciampa-Fletcher may have exceeded a dozen of them. I loved the match, and the show, but it seemed excessive.

Lawson Douvier

Incredible show. Genuine question: why were Andrade and Callis standing in front of a framed DNA profile? Was it Matt Morgan’s? Is El Clon his clone?

Gage Rosenow

The main titles in AEW just feel so important. MJF is the best at playing this chicken shit heel with everyone after him. The Women’s title gets an interesting and fresh direction that hopefully won’t be squandered. The TNT title gets a shock change that will likely lead to a heel turn and character fulfillment of a certain “psycho killer”. Marvelous stuff from AEW

macarotto

I've loved having Moxley doing commentary on Death Riders matches the last couple of episodes of Collision and Dynamite, he's having so much fun. Loved him giggling away when Strong walked away from OC, and especially love when he brings up Toni and he's kayfabe scared of her. Delighted for Thekla as well, she's so cool and fun to watch, glad she's getting a run with the top title.

JM 17

As good as the matches were and how well they built for grand slam, I can't help bit feel slightly disappointed in the predictable Young Bucks vs ftr match and the 7th Fletcher vs Briscoe match. AEW thrives when creating new matches and new storylines but last night as good as it was missed the spark. Thekla winning the title was a much needed outcome on a show that needed some form of upset and everything involving the death riders was also very good. Can't wait for grand slam though, should be a banger.

MeekCandy4

The episode of Dynamite was solid. Seeing Fletcher win the TNT title just to set up another match with Briscoe was a little disappointing since Ciampa was a breath of fresh air. If you want Fletcher to have a big match at Grandslam Australia, put him in a number one contender’s match like Andrade and Hangman. Side note: seeing babyface Jon Moxley do nothing while the Death Riders messed with Orange, Mina, and Toni was kind of funny.
