Good afternoon Swaftnation!

Oli and I have been talking about the WrestleTalk Patreon and what changes we could make to improve your pledges. One suggestion we've had is an ad-free version of the audio podcast (which is very possible) - but we wanted to ask you directly what YOU want from your Patreon pledge.

So leave some comments below - what would you like to see from WrestleTalk on Patreon?

That would be great...

Stay Swaft!

Id like to see a add on to first Friday of month where you list indi dates around UK for next month maybe could be added to magazine maybe a competition where the winner can get a ticket to join you and Oli at a indie event of there / your choice

CarlosBlackfyre

What about a review about certain raw or smackdown shows, like a raw after wrestlemania.

wrestletalk

LUKE: Sharing indy dates certainly is a good idea. We'd have to do more than the UK as we've got a larger reach than this tiny island we love so much. Not sure we could get tickets for you guys though!

wrestletalk

LUKE: We'd review those episodes anyway. Or do you mean classic episodes of Raw and Smackdown?

Rob Pontin

I was thinking the person pays for there tickets you pay for yours in the UK or watch a PPV via Skype or Facebook messenger for other countries

David McArdle

Maybe some form of NXT review? It could be like a once a month thing discussing what has happened in that months worth of NXT. Doesn’t need to be like everything that happened, more a discussion of favourite and interesting stuff going on.

Zachary Marsh

I would love if you guys did a podcast once a week or every two weeks quizzing each other about wwe maybe make it apart of the points towards punishments

Roy Tripp

Like the NXT review idea and once a month would be good rather than a weekly, would make more of an episode.

I have enjoyed the new Japan stuff recently, I'm pretty much just wwe fan as WWE network sub and all that... but this has made me want to look at more outside of WWE. Some ROH, TNA and Lucha stuff, review big events?

Martin Putt

I'd like to see Fantasy Booking Warfare going up a day early for Patreon backers and as much coverage as is possible about New Japan Pro Wrestling maybe a have a New Japan based Wrestle Ramble after big New Japan shows.

DANiel 'The Mayor of Painsville' Schachtmeier

I'm very satisfied with the current offerings. But i've got this idea of a SUPERSTAR PRESENTATION. I just don't know if the Mini-Ramble (like max. 15 minutes) or a video produced like the 'Remember when' series is more fitting for this. For example: A 50 Dollar Patreon suggests 'Do a video on Disco Inferno and explain to me who he was' and then you go on to produce a Mini-Video that highlights that certain wrestler, including your own take on their careers. Or another idea i just had: Bring the Crap Gimmick roster (which i am still no part of!!!!) more to life by creating a page where we can look on it's members and maybe try to get someone to draw sketches of them. Patreons could pick their current positions on the card or suggest title shots.

Bryan

I’d like more content to tell you the truth, ever since I’ve discovered the podcast I haven’t listened to the radio in weeks. But due to my work commute I’m able to listen to a whole ramble on one sitting and I never have anything to listen to on the way back home 😪

EchoOne

I have really been enjoying the Crap Gimmick Roster. I think it's great when the listeners take the time to come up with a terrible idea, whether it’s on purpose or not. You could post the submittals for us to enjoy along with a rating system and a comment section. Who doesn’t love being judged by strangers!? There can also be a section for the “talent” that was not up to your collective snuff. The SWAFT nation could even add suggestions on how to fix a terrible gimmick, too terrible for a roster made of terrible gimmicks.

Todd Whitecotton

I think it would be good if you guys had rambles that were just debating on things you feel differently about. Everyone loves to hear people argue over nonsense.

Joe Gibson

What about more New Japan and ROH and other outside of WWE content/reviews, or I seen someone said what about an NXT review, and that was also a good idea I thought.

Jere Pesonen

I would want to see some sort of quiz Hosted by "quiz Master" Luke and other one could be 2.nd extra podcast for review old episodes of raw and smackdown third one vlog where you two travel to wrestling shows and you tell all about it. Thank you, love you. bye.

Karl Meury

More (drunk) rambling podcast like the christmas one. Special videos like making of, Q&A, studio tour, vlog etc.

David Mackenzie

If possible, take the ads out of the early access podcast on YouTube. We already contribute we shouldn't have to watch ads

Here’s a thought. Just because you guys are looking for ways to increase patron pledges, since $5 gets you the wrestleramble extra, what if for $10 or more backers there is a review of a specifically non WWE PPV Show on a semi-monthly (I know you guys already do a lot so I’m trying not to kill you with these ideas) basis. I know you include the non wwe shows often in the voting for the original, but especially with the increased number of us getting into NJPW you could review some of their shows or some ROH shows from the past. Obviously they’d be ones that are available to see on some form of service. But I’d pay more for that.

Just throwing this one out there into the wind but how about a weekly review of the news that has gone on through the week? Maybe a tiny podcast, give your opinion on some things. Not sure if this would work well but its something else. I myself feel no incentive to move up a tier but with the pull of an arm and a few new additions to what content is added I would no doubt upgrade because I love the wrestling work you guys do. You got me back into wrestling after a 1-2 year break and its great to keep adding extra content. I know this may be hard on your schedules though so I dont mind if this idea is quickly shot down :) Have a good day everyone

I have two ideas. 1) Have a Patreon exclusive FBW for PPV's based on the crap gimmick roster. This could be monthly, bi-monthly or even just a quarterly (big 4) podcast. I feel like it would allow more people to get into the crap gimmick spirit. 2) I saw Jere's idea on the quiz show and felt like I could elaborate a little more. It would start with a vote on what topic the quiz should be about. You could do this like the higher teir backers could give like 5 topics to vote from. Then Luke could prepare a quiz from the winning topic for Oli to have to take. 10 questions, 1 point for a correct answer. If Oli scores less than 5, all the Patreon backers could get a little reward. Possibly a special punishment? I love the channel and will continue to support. Thank you guys!

More wrestletalk merchandise to buy such as caps, mugs, keyrings, SWAFT nation t-shirts, I'm an #OliDavis guy t-shirt, Luke owen is a genius t-shirt.

DJ Deth

More merch (Swaft-Nation!) I love the live viewing of PPV's idea and that pulled me in. In order to earn more to get your high speed internet, I recommend more of what worked to get to 400k... and 450k... and to get Luke on the job, and that's just give us a goal! We'll hit it!

Robert Brent

I would love more swaft and wrestletalk merch. Just come with like someone said i'm an oli guy or i'm a luke guy. etc i think it would sell with more merch.
