How would you both book Daniel Bryans debut in AEW

Skeletor10594 .

He Team DenUke, so I've been watching alot of WWE Network NXT, the great stuff before USA network, they had so many stars with so much promise, personally I think Neville (Pac) is the star they dropped the ball on the most, now, to the question if you could push any former Nxt star from the original network days who would it be and how would you do it. Have a great day/afternoon. love ya, bye

Noodles

If the rumoured edict for NXT is true in terms of younger talent and trying to appeal to a younger audience, what do you think NXT can realistically do to achieve this? (In terms of both production and hires)

Alex kirkman

Good morning Hope you’re both well A topical question as I’ve been watching the Olympics and had an idea. Do you think wrestling (the WWE/AEW style wrestling) should be contended in the olympics? Yes I know it’s Kayfabe but if 2 wrestlers from 1 country compete together to produce a technically flawless 3 minute match with points awarded for execution of moves, presentation & so on & so forth, I think it’ll be a really exciting & interesting event. I mean, it’s similar to gymnastic if you think about it Just wanted your thoughts

Homerstar

I’m a big fan of Bayley as a face and as she’s gonna be gone for a while, when do you think she should turn back and how would you do it? Also if she does go back to being a face, should she have a new gimmick or go back to her classic hugger gimmick?

Angel Gonzalez

Hi team! It’s been a while and I’m back! As you may (or may not) remember I try to ask questions unrelated to the day jobs and are more critical thinking or just spark conversation! With that all out of the way, what is a question where if you were guaranteed to know the answer you would ask? I’ve thought about this before and there’s many who may answer quickly without realizing the repercussions of that answer. Doesn’t have to be wrestling related, but you can if you want to keep on topic or have an easy out. Hope this question is fun! Thank you both for everything you do.

Create-A-Wrestler game... But with a twist! You have to CAW each other. Key points to include * Ring Name or Nickname * Character / Gimmick * Face or Heel * Wrestling Style (techical/brawler/etc) * Entrance theme * Signature Move (name + description) * Finisher (name + description) Optional bonus question - What promotion do you wrestle for, and who's your first feud?

Do you think the hangman page kenny omega video package for when they eventually fight will be a better video package then Daniel Bryan's monster video package from wrestlemania 30 to that what song would you choose for the paclage

Misstrust

Hello the lovely Team DenUke! I have a random question for you guys: If you could be any other animal/creature real or fantasy what would it be? If you can't chose a creature, how about a super power?

Kneel MD

Hello Team Denuke Luke, if Sega had a Super Smash Bros-style game who would you like to see added to the roster of characters? Denise, which rock song would you like to see Taylor Swift cover? Many thanks for the content and the laughs.

Jack Chambers

Luke, if you had to pick a Slipknot (or any nu metal band) song for Denise to sing in the style of Taylor Swift, what would it be? Denise, what nu metal bands do you know/like?

Adam Gallick

Hi Denuke... Are WWE releasing talent to create their own 'free agent' pool? Release someone and then bring them back 6 months later to a big pop and a half-price contract? I don't even fully believe this tbh, I just find the amount of releases and some of the names - Braun and Bray especially - to be baffling decisions. And if this isn't the case... what do you think Disney's WWE looks like?

Nathan ‘The Bully’ Collett

Hi team Denuke, Quick question, do you think that the rise in wrestling YouTube channels like yourselves actually hampers wrestling shows ratings? I mean, how many people actually have stopped watching Raw & Smackdown and instead just watch your recaps. I know I do. Do you think that if YouTube was around in the early 00’s the ratings would have plummeted even quicker after the attitude era? Thanks guys. Much love

Sausage sandwich. Red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all

JJ Gyllenhaal

Hello team DeNuke, can we just talk about the rumours of Jennifer Aniston & David Schwimmer? Have a nice day & Jam That Jam

Nick Devine

Hi Team DeNuke. A lot of the talk about NXT has been about the effect on the men's division. What do you think might happen for the women? Are we in danger of another Diva Search?

Rupesh Babu T

Hi team Denuke. What do you think is the most underrated wwe/world title match at a summerslam.

Andy Burgess

Yo Denuke, I hope you're both doing well. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with your 'strike while the iron is hot' Hangman opinion. The story has been hot since before they even won the tag straps and throughout the pandemic. The fans won't go cold on such a well told story. Kenny needs a longer title reign to cement the belt collector character and has so many more challengers to face in multiple companies (especially New Japan.) I could see AEW not paying off on Hangman winning the title for another 2 or 3 years and it being just as good then as now. Hangman's story is about beating his personal demons and that takes a lot of time, if he just gets over all that overnight, it doesn't mean anything. Kenny has pinned Hangman twice already and they need to be separated again or he'll lose credibility as a contender. Honestly, I think you're both being a bit Vince about this and wanting to move on too quickly. The fans are finally being rewarded with a great story that's being allowed all the time in the world to breathe and evolve...stop asking for it to end and trust AEW's smart and generous fanbase to stick with it Thank you both for the great content, good day to you, Jam that Jam and Pickle that peanut butter

Tom Shucksmith

Hi team DeNuke! If you could have one meal for rest of your life, what would it be

General Jimmy G

Hey Denuke.. First of all, you both are great and do great jobs.... despite what that dweeb Srs has to say.. Question. If time and money n health issues were no concerns. Where would your dream holiday be and who with? (Not your other half's if possible.) Keep up the amazing work. #Jamthatjam

Marcus A Campbell

What did both of you think of The Suicide Squad and in your opinion how did it compare to the 2016 one?

Andy Mac

Hi Denuke I thought I would enlighten you with my conspiracy theory. Tin foil hats on please. Is it possible that Nick Khan, could have a side deal with the AEW Khan family to exert influence in WWE in his high profile role in WWE, convincing Vince to cut talent right, left and centre including some of the top guys on decent money, so that AEW can pick them up and continue to challenge WWE. Appreciate it would take years to generate the money WWE makes but their downfall can be accelerated. I just can’t justify in my head some of the names released and keep thinking there must be something funny going on to be releasing people like Andrade, Aleister Black, Bray Wyatt etc. Complete and utter madness I’m sure you agree! Obviously a bullshit theory, unless we see Nick Khan at AEW in future which would raise eyebrows! Tony and Nick are not related but I like to think they could be secret cousins, fixing a way to overhaul the Mcmahons! Keep up the content! Much love, AndyMac!

Heya, this will be my first Mailbag Show! I have 2 questions for you: Both: There's a trend in teasing debuts \ returns \ etc... Do you both think this is a good or bad thing? Personally, I can't help but wonder just how much more of a shock return Edge's would have been at the Royal Rumble in 2020 if he hadn't speared Elias at SummerSlam 2019! Both: Do you believe that things should be collected and never used, ever, or do you think they should be enjoyed whilst they last? Personally, I don't collect things for the sake of keeping NRFB (Never Removed From Box) as I believe that everything should be enjoyed. I've had quite a few collectors get really angry \ hatred towards me because I've enjoyed playing with a large variety of things including some highly sort after collectables.

Albert williams

Hey Team Denuke Quick question is it just me or did wwe already sour the good feeling of having crowds back. I’m already back to skipping raw and my excitement for summerslam is very low because I really wanted to see Brock vs lashley this year

that guy who want to support

Hello team denuke. There is something I've been asking myself for a while, between 2014 to the beginning of 2020 new japan has been arguably the best wrestling promotion on the planet (you can also argue the timeline but that's my opinion) with combination of amazing matches and just simple but smart long term storytelling. But it's also obvious that no big company suffered more from the pandemic plus the combination of bad decisions like Evil's title reign and the design of the new championship and bad luck like Osprey and Ibushi's injury the product isn't really what it used to be, it still definitely have some shining spots. My question is do you think it is the end of new japan being the state of art of wrestling or do you think it's just some kind of phase that Gedo or someone else could fix as we get used to the world? You might nit have an answer but it is an interesting conversation to have. Stay good you guys! 😉

Callum

Densie which did you prefer ted and robin or Barney and robin Also luke when the hell you gonna watch how I met your mother your missing out lol

Chris Smith

Hi guys, I've noticed that the women of NXT seem to last longer in the company than their male partners/teammates. Alexa Bliss outlasted Blake and Murphy. Nikki outlasted Sanity. Lana outlasted Rusev. Carmella outlasted Enzo and Cass. Zelina Vega outlasted Andrade. And i think it's fair to say by now that Scarlett will receive more opportunities than Kross. So do you think the current NXT women's roster will thrive in the new version of NXT?

Alan Aubrey

What food do you hate the most? I hate mushrooms with a passion. Keep up the great work.

Ronan C

Is The Montreal Screwjob and Bret joining WCW the most important piece of wrestling history in the modern era? If Bret stayed do we get the Mr. McMahon character? Is Bret v Shawn the main event of Mania 14? Does Stone Cold get the push to the same extent? Does WWE go on to dominate the Monday Night Wars to the same extent?

Kristian Bell

Book a survivor series style 5 vs 5 vs 5 triple treat tag match similar to when NXT got involved a few years ago, but the teams are WWE vs AEW vs NJPW. Who would be eliminated first, who would win and who would be the surviors?

Rob James

Hi team Denuke, I'll try to be brief, I am a tragic 80s kid too and I too love TMNT but also Transformers. To that end have either of you have any memories of transformers and would you be interested in the More Than Meets The Eye comic book as it details what happens now the Autobot/ Decepticon war is over? I love it and it's Robot In Disguise counterpart Thanks and hope you both stay safe and much love to you both

adam blamplate

With NXT as we know it coming too an end what match or angle do you think is the most important in NXT history? For me it's bayley vs sasha at nxt brooklyn 1 without that match I think the women's evolution takes longer too take hold than it did #FTF #supportthegreatmuter

Zachary Sweeney

Denise! Have you cooled off since Monday night? My real question is have you both seen "in the heights" yet and if so why is it the greatest movie you've ever seen? I appreciate you both and hope you're doing well!

Greg Cherry

Hello Team Denuke, if you were to ever be slimed with a type of food, what would you want it to be? (Cheap plug for my show Luck of the Draw)

TheJedimuffin

My question, "what do you think is the most influential moment that made you a wrestling fan?" For me it was Y2J arriving in WWF.

B-ryan

Hey . Me and my wife LOVE TEAM DENUKE! I hope Denise won't mind a question from a peasant flyover state but I want to ask Luke a U.K. versus U.S. question. Why do you think Brits say " I'm going to hospital " versus Americans saying " I'm going to THE hospital"? Just wondered if you had ever thought about that. It bugs me but in a funny way. Truthfully I have to say. I was so happy when my wife got into AEW but when she jumped on the Oli, Luke and Denise train I can't tell you how happy it made me. You bring us so much joy. Truthfully .....Thank you

Vault-Tec Doormamu

Hey guys, I have a question for you. Should the AEW title be the last title Kenny loses? I get the argument about not wanting to beat Kenny so many times before he loses it to hangman, but Kenny doesn’t care about the other titles. He just flung the titles away when he was done with them. Would the story not be better with Kenny losing all of the gold and slowly getting increasingly desperate to hold onto what he has? Him losing the AEW title first just feels like a complete waste of good long term storytelling we could have otherwise.

Nate S

Team DeNuke! How will you coexist now that you’re facing off in Fantasy Booking warfare?!?! Please don’t break up the friendship, I don’t think I could take it after the SRS and Denise fiasco 😂

Scott Peaden

Hi team Denuke! Question: where do ya'll think Bray Wyatt/Wyndham is ending up? I think he might go AEW. Thoughts?

Brian Boyd

Hey team DenUke (and guest) with WWE'S recent moves and speculations they are grooming the company to be sold. Just wondering if A: You think that is the case And B: If you DO think that's the case what company do you think would be interested, have that kind if capital lying around (keeping in mind the Peacock deal was worth about a 3rd of what Disney bought Star Wars for), AND feel like they can make their money back on something as niche was Wrestling? Thanks for your time!

stardust crusader's overdrive

Hey Luke! I know you said that you didn't watch the 2003 turtles, but I do recommend their movie, Turtles Forever. Just like the 2012 turtles crossed over with the 80s turtles, this is like that. Though there was the problem of getting the original voice actors for the 80s turtles, it's still an amazing movie. We even get a cool moment where the 2003 Shredder shows the entire multiverse of the turtles, showing a lot of nods to many of the comics and the movies. It's a really good movie and highly recommend it for TMNT fans.

Peter Mullins

Hey guys! As I mentioned on the previous AEW review, I'm currently resting up on the sofa after hitting a Running Knee on the dishwasher and dislocating my kneecap. Thanks to the chat and you guys for the well-wishes, it is sore, but recovering. I'm back walking without a cane now, love the community's positive vibes My question, have you guys, or anyone you know who is a non-wrestler ever injured yourselves hitting a wrestling move, maybe as a kid, in play, or by accident like my dumb ass? Much love!

Josh Razauskas

Hey Denuke hope you’re well! Finally getting a new computer this week so I’ll be able to create again. Any advice for how to request interviews since most people don’t know my name yet?

ThePapaPapaya

Bonjourno to yous both. Comiserations on not getting the victory on Quizzlemania. Ive been wanting to watch a lot more NJPW so do yous have any really good new japan matches (That dont inolve Kenny or Okada). I've seen a few matches and really like minoru suzuki so a couple matches with him would be great. Thank you and hope y'all have a good day.

Brent Degenhardt

During the Cody vs Black match why was the doctor concerned about Cody's leg and back but did not care about the growing infection in Malakai Black's eye?

Stephen Reid

Hey Denuke! I’ve been a fan of the channel for going on 5 years now (considering I’m only 17 that’s a long time) and you guys along with the rest of the wrestletalk crew and extended family have inspired me to not only go into the journalism side of wrestling but also to start training as a wrestler. But my question is, how do I go about getting into wrestling journalism, what should I do in college to get me into it? And one other thing, what happened to the wrestletalk scholarship? Thanks for the great memories!

Mark Jones

Hey Team Denuke, hope you're both doing well. My question this week for you is on AEW. Part of me wonders if the thing that is holding them back from overtaking AEW isn't WWE's firm grasp on the market, but their lack of a major crossover star. Honestly, I stopped watching WWE after the round of releases that including Black and Murphy and genuinely think AEW is the more entertaining, but from my perspective they don't yet have that crossover talent like WWE have had in the past with Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena, etc. I think Kenny could slot into that role for AEW, but he doesn't seem to have that crossover appeal just yet. But what do you think? All the best, Mark.

Oliver Drake

Hi Denise and Luke. If you were on the rise as an indie wrestler today, which company would you most want to sign for?

ryley

Hey guys I have a question for each of you. Luke you have said before that you are a final fantasy fan so I was wondering if you were a kingdom hearts fan. Denise you have said before your wrestling crush is cm punk so do I so what era of punk is the sexiest I would say straight edge punk with the long hair and beard. Thanks guys take care!!

MySpiritAnimalisADorito

I look forward to this show every week! And one of my internet highlights was when Denise read my comment on her show. Question: What is the last purely Vince idea that got over? Every successful major story line or character in the past (probably) 20-25 years seems to have been someone else's creation, organic through the fans, and at times begrudgingly for the fans. Kofi, Bryan, Becky, Punk, now even NXT... I honestly can't think of a "great" Vince idea since Undertaker. Thoughts?

Joey reacts

Hi Luke and Denise Do you think that Aew should get a brand split they have a bunch of talent and now with a new show i think that splitting it up might be beneficial to the roster so that everyone gets some screen time I think that the titles should still float between shows and that the women’s division be exclusive to One of the shows as i don’t think they have enough women to split them up anyways have a nice day and also #jamthatjam
