Hi team!

We're going to record the M@ilbag show today!

For those new to our Patreon (welcome!), the M@ilbag is different to After Dark in terms of questions asked as these are more wrestling focused - i.e. topics you haven't heard us talk about yet or things from the past, present and future you'd like opinions on.

But, we also can talk about any old thing you'd like to know about us in an Q&A type situation.

So, get in your mailbag questions below!

On this month's show, Luke is away so Chopper Pete will be joined by Tempest! LIW!

Comments

Bailey Donovan

what would be your dream wwe faction of underused superstars?

Mr Paradise

How long do you think HHHs honeymoon period will last? I tried to watch raw the other day and saw no improvements really other than the matches being longer, watching judgement day fake laugh in the ring was cringe inducing and the acting, production and storylines are borderline unwatchable to me. Am I the only one?

Jack Chambers

Since Tempest is on, what are some of the best finishers from Japanese wrestling that are relatively underrated? For Pete, if you could take your Monday Night War into the real world and be an actual GM/booker for a show in 2022 (Smackdown, Raw, AEW, Impact etc), which would you choose and why? And who would be your "Tucker" in real life if you could any current wrestler?

Ewan Macdonald

What was the first title change that made you genuinely happy to see?

21Pandas_

Not a question. My world in a prison or whatever in Orlando, fl Anf she asked me if I knew who Tammy Sytch is! Sounded very familiar and I looked it up it was sunny! I didn't know she was in such bad shape. Apparently she's very annoying to the guards but very popular with the inmates. She had a fan club.. So yay? I guess.

Evan Pilon

Hey Lads! In work on a Tuesday, but tuning in to wrestle talk as always. I was curious as to what y'all thought about WWE possibly working with more Japanese promotions such as NOAH, since Nakamura will be having one of Muta's last matches next year. Hope you have a great day!

Callum

Do you think we could get Kenny at wrestlekingdom next year with this new Japan relationship ?

Homerstar

As we seem to be coming to the end of the year, what are some of your favourite things to happen this year. Doesn't have to just be wrestling, it can include things like TV and Films.

Matt-netic Field

How big would a working relationship between WWE and new Japan be for the business??

Alex kirkman

I asked this question last month but I bloody asked it wrong didn’t I??? I asked with what Cody Rhodes has done for wrestling on the indie scene & being integral in the start of AEW would he be considered for the HOF? I meant to say would he be considered when deciding the Mount Rushmore of wrestling I would say Vince, Austin, HHH & Rhodes because they all have played a massive part in the evolution of wrestling

Steve Ramsey

going all the way back to 2001, if austin didn't join mcmahon, where do you think the story would have gone during the invasion?

Graff

I want to know a few things about Big T. One why out of all the Elemental HEROES in GX Tempest caught his attention? Was his cool design? Cuz it certainly wasn't his effect or summoning condition. Also, do you play any modern YGO? If you do then man how since the game has gotten so complex for any old players or new ones to try and get into. I say this as a player who's never really left since getting into it during my childhood.

that guy who want to support

1st thing, Pete I want you to know that you got me curious with D&D and found a small group who plays a super hero themed campaign, I went to a few sessions already and it was a ton of fun! What new Pokémon from scarlet and violet do you like the most at this point? And what Pokémon (not including fighting types) you think will make a good wrestler?

Rob Wood

Do u ever think WWE would do angle where like Jey Uso or even Roman gets in a back stage fight (let's say with Logan Paul) and they stip them of the title's? Gets the belts off them and its also kinda poking fun at AEW? Maybe too inside baseball

Callum Lucas

How are you booking the Sami Zayn/Bloodline breakup? What would you want to see Bray Wyatt do at Mania?

Tina Keys

Just out of curiosity where in the world do you think the wrestling scene is underrated or picking up steam?

Callum Lucas

Ohh also, is Tempest going to do a HBK and hand Pete a title (Quizzlemania or Jam that jampionship)like HBK did for HHH back in ‘97?😂

LJ Mickey

How do you think WWE should use Shelton Benjamin? I always feel that he has been underutilized.

ItzSmashley

If you were a wrestler who would be your dream tag partner?

Al D

do you think there is space for a short-term buyout of contracts.... IE creative has had nothing for you for 6 months, you can leave the company? But say for only Middle / Lower Tier talent.

Glenn Dallas

Since it's an LIW show, can we do an LIW survivor series match? The two of you, plus two members of LIJ, vs four WWE opponents. What match would you want to have?

Geoff Munsterman

Do you think AEW would improve if Tony handed ROH creative off to someone else? LIW 444life.

Rob James

Howdy fellas, if Tony does launch ROH TV show, whom would you like to see move from AEW or get resigned? I think Angelico would fit right into the Pure Title scene and bring back Jack Evans for TH2 and I think it'd be a winner

ryley

When roh gets a tv deal who from aew would you like to see move to roh full time. I'd love to see guys like buddy Mathews have a run over there

Matthew Moses

How come no one ever mentions the pipebomb/promo on the episode of Raw where Joey Styles quits WWE? It was 5 years before the Punk pipebomb and arguably better, especially considering the times and how relevant it still is today.

Sam Palmer

MY DUDES, long time listener, first time question asker! As someone who works in wrestling media like you guys, do you think writing about negative news a lot affects your mental health? E.g. the “brawl out” stuff, did you find yourselves not enjoying your work because the topic was so negative?

Josh Razauskas

Do you think AEW will ever do something similar to WWE with their PPVs where we can get all of them for a monthly or yearly fee? $53 with tax every few months is painful!
