WT Extra | April 2023 Poll! (Patreon)

JENA: Hello Pledgehammers! Here are the options for this month's WrestleTalk Extra!

WWF WrestleMania IX (suggested by Marcus A. Campbell)

“The World’s Largest Toga Party”! Because that’s what wrestling fans want. This Mania, held in Las Vegas, showcased matches of Undertaker v. Giant Gonzalez, Hogan’s thieving of the title from Yokozuna, who had just won it from Bret Hart, and Lex Lugar v. Mr. Perfect.

WCW Spring Stampede 1999 (suggested by Rob James)

Described by Rob James as “Just a super show”, this card included a Four Corners match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Juventud Guerrera v. Blitzkrieg, Rey Mysterio Jr v. Billy Kidman and a tag team match of Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit v. Raven and Perry Saturn.

WWF WrestleMania 2000 (suggested by Chuck Turner)

“A McMahon in Every Corner”! This stipulation-loaded match card includes a Triangle ladder match of Edge and Christian, The Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz, a Catfight of Terri Runnels v. The Kat, a six-person intergender tag match and the Hardcore Battle Royal.

WWE WrestleMania 22 (suggested by Justin Edelheit)

“BIG TIME!” Continuing their love for stipulation matches at Mania, this time, WWE gave us Undertaker v. Mark Henry in a Casket match, a MITB match, a Playboy pillow fight match, and also Cena v. HHH and Rey Mysterio v. Kurt Angle v. Randy Orton.

WWE WrestleMania 27 (suggested by Garret Albright)

Remember when Snooki was at WrestleMania? Continuing to hold a mixed response, this show featured Undertaker v. HHH in a No Holds Barred match, Michael Cole v. Jerry Lawler, Randy Orton v. CM Punk, Edge v. Del Rio and The Miz v. Cena.
