PETE: Hello Pledgehammers!

It's time for Behind The Scenes for May 2023! This time, it's just me and Oli, and we go into full detail behind the entire Wrestle Mania storyline and the WrestleTalk News rebrand/relaunch/refresh. There's a lot to talk about, hope you enjoy! The storyline was a real labour of love, and I'm very proud with the end result.

I love how big the WT brand is that people associate the "Support WrestleTalk" bupper to the show. It's a feel good moment for those listening. My old podcast once interviewed Oli, Luke and Laurie and a secret was leaked about it, which still blows my mind. Proves how you don't just associate the bumper, but also the people to the brand. I still tell people to this day that secret. (No, I'm not giving it away here as it's A. Not mine to say B. It's more likely well known and is just me that cares C. No need to peddle my show as it is sleeping) Thank you for the deep dive into the Wrestle Mania saga 😁

Pete's right to be proud of the results of this storyline, it was the perfect balance between fun, corny, and genuine, while not completely taking over the channel. And thankfully not relying on WWE to book competently to continue.
