Paul has a history of being cheap and boring exactly opposite of goated. Panda is goated for rangchu, Yoshi is goated, like Brian is more interesting character design than Paul because he actually has flaws. I was praying he'd get some big hits to frame data in 8 but nah

Culibao will be fighting danny silva, who had that banger with angel Pacheco on the conteneder series, just something to keep your eye on. Also i was looking foward to hearing your thoughts on kyler phillips vs Munhoz. I saw some saying pedro is over the hill and although i think he's lost a step i dont think he's washed, Phillips just looked fantastic. I'd appreciate your word on it in the next pod if not too much of an ask. Whenever i hear your detailed explanation of what happens in striking and grappling exchanges between fighters it always reminds me why i love this sport, thanks slacky.

Jack did you see Chito Vera accusing Sean O'Malley of greasing? Literally Deontay Wilder "my costume was too heavy" levels of cope and delusion. And then Jason perillo(chitos boxing coach) said on social media that he's very proud of chito and "if there were no rounds chito would win by murder" haha 10/10 made me laugh

Hey Jack, Any tips for an amateur fighter who’s been having a ton of close fights, split decision losses, etc.? I’ve noticed a bit too much backing up and letting the opponent dictate the first round, then picking up the pace later on when it’s too late. I find I’m using too much floaty footwork and not doing enough to dictate my pace. Any fights I can look to for examples of good pressure and overall pace setting? Or techniques you find to be useful? Cheers from New York -Dave
