Are you using Adobe Creative Cloud? If so send a message and I will put together a script that will skip frames. Not an ultra pro but After Effects has little scripts that are easy to put in to accomplish certain things. Edit: you might also be able to just mess with the frame rate of whatever you are using to create something that is choppy, whether that ends up looking good enough to show what you're trying to show is another thing. One last idea would be to google turning a video into a slide show. Turn the frames down as low as possible. Turn it into a slide show. Then multi-clicking and deleting frames shouldn't be that horrible. I'm telling you. Have a small Patreon go fund me to get a cheap lawyer to see if they can advise on fair use and how to actually insure it is recognized. I'm sure lots of us would throw a random 10+ to see more video analysis.

For your YouTube delima I've seen some people have a video of repeated images and clips as a "base" and add the main bits here and there on top of that. Some creators who cover manga do this to leak chapters but they only show the important pages and add plenty of random stills and vfx, you know? Throw in some of your original sketches and it might work. I've only made small "edits" so I'm not an expert or whatever. Good luck

I haven’t tested this, but could you run a Timelapse edit over the footage and just set the frame rate really quick. I use this for condensing 60 minute clips and it works well. VN is free to use

Possibly the only time I feel emotional weight over combat sports, a relatively brutish endeavor, is listening to your words. Appreciate the closer answer. It was touching, no diddy. Sentiments aside, have you looked into the history of sambo? From what I heard, the soviets very actively sought a melting pot like project. To create an ultimate combat system I suppose lol. It definitely comes off as an anthropological endeavor, if true.
