Robs takedown defence looked excellent, hasn’t lost his cardio overnight just got blasted all fight long to the midsection, and he landed some good shots , not his best self but can’t understand the finished shouts. Hopefully leads to some close odds against a Brendan Allen level fighter.

Was watching this fight, and all I could think was “RDR strikes like a new born giraffe”. It feels like he’s a less competent Khabib. His striking and grappling is generally worse, but he’s game and once he’s got you in the clinch he’s always hitting you with these tiny shots. Relentless pressure.

I want to see him retire for his own good. The decisions he made in the last minute of the fight made that clear to me. He can't be champ again, he's made his purse, he has a family and he's been fighting nothing but monsters for the last 10 years

If RDR threw a lot more of those long jabs and 1-1-2s he'd be way more dangerous. He could also try DDP style switch hitting bullrushes to create more clinches. Really interesting fighter to watch.
