If yall are looking for something different in combat sports, I have to shout out the most exciting sport in the world: sumo. The tournament structure leads to just an incredible build up of tension and excitement at the end. Sumo is fantastically exciting right now too, with 2 new yokozuna crowned this year and multiple red hot prospects coming up the ranks, especially the Ukrainian phenomenon that is Aonishiki. I just cannot recommend sumo enough, it's so exciting, 6 two-week tournaments a year gives you lots of matches, and the traditions they uphold are fascinating and fun to learn about. if you're interested at all, check out the highlights from the most recent tournament that just ended: https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/shows/sumo/
