MORE WEEB SHIT! History of Muay Thai, Lethwei, Kung fu, or Sumo? And how do they play into the MMA meta of today?

Great article. From Chinese Martial Arts side, I thought the cat stance was a type of physical mnemonic, a short hand for a front kick. With the assumption when this was taught in the militia, army everyone knew the codification and it was just sequencing that was used for memory. It would go some reason to explain alot of the same shapes re-appearing as soldiers returned to their home villages etc. Awesome podcast as always!!

If you ever made a twitch where u steamed Tekken whilst analysing their move list that'd be crazy

I prefer at least a percentage of practical tactics and strategy. Seems like you had fun with this though.

It always seems like this: if you don't have a full contact sparring component as a major factor and you don't allow outsiders to fight in that sparring - you'll eventually go straight up your own ass with weird shit.

God bless Tekken - Lidia could've just been a rival CEO from a Polish company, but nah... just go ahead and make her the Prime Minister.

What I learned from this article: Lidia is trash and broken.

King is my favorite Tekken character, I had no idea Minoru Suzuki did the mocap work for the games. That's super interesting

Alright you son of a bitch, you've started posting Tekken content and I've officially become a Patreon boi. I love it.
