Art Update 01-13 / Wunderflats (Patreon)

Happy Friday 13th friends,

today I learned that the fear of this day, and the number 13, is called Triskaidekaphobia - lovely! 😄

I have no brand new art for you this week, because I'm still busy with working for Adidas. However, I want to present a yet unrevealed project from 2022 to you: my illustrations for the app Wunderflats. It's an app where you can rent furnished apartments, similar to Airbnb, but specialized on longer rents and business customers. 🏡

They commissioned me to make illustrations for their website and app, and I want to show you what I made for them:

The image at the top is the Hero illustration, used as a header and welcoming screen in the app.

This one's for the onboarding process. You may have already noticed that the client and I were a very good match in terms of color palettes 😉

It's been a fun gig, what I especially like it setting up whole illustration concepts for clients. That means it's not "only" a single artwork that is used somewhere, but it's about taking the client's identity and setting up a whole visual line for them that will represent them in the future.
