Plastober is around the corner! Looking at the prompts of week 1 (Patreon)

Hey guys,

I haven't been making new art lately and I got to say..it sucks! There's these weeks where you just promote projects, manage social media accounts and top of that have to wrestle with the tax office because a bunch of braindead idiots work there. These are not my favorite.

BUT!

The fact that Lines is doing so well on Kickstarter makes completely up for that. And it shows that my efforts in building a nice campaign are fruitful and rewarding. Now that the first rush is over, I've got more time to focus on other topics (and finish the book!) and watch & promote the campaign on the side.

Plastober, Week 1

One of these topics is Plastober. And I had the idea of explaining my prompt list in a little different way this year - by doing Youtube videos each week, for the weekly prompts and showing how I approach them. You can watch the very first one above, and I'll keep up posting the next ones a couple days earlier here on Patreon soon.

I will also talk a bit about this and that. In today's video, I tell you how doing these challenges myself has improved my growth as an artist a lot.

Life Contained

My bottle dioramas will drop on Nifty Gateway as digital collectibles this week (10.30 PM UTC on Wednesday, September 27). I've got some cool specials in the backpack for this one: There are two empty bottles. One will be auctioned, once can be won by collecting the Orbit and Retreat ones. The collectors will then be able to commission me to add their personal scene to the bottles.

Connecting personal commissions to digital collectibles feels like a great match to me. I'm curious to discuss the ideas with the collectors, and add two more pieces to the Life Contained series!

I hope you also like the branding. My wife came up with the name! 😊
