the Kill Bill fight scene reference and then the Luffy/Bellamy punch reference were both so well done

Maki episode is so damn gooooood! Alot of people on Twitter were complaining (shocker)over the song choice, personally I thought it fit well, animation and directing was 10/10

It definitely is a bittersweet feeling because we got this badass version of Maki at the cost of her younger twin sister, who used all of her life force and ability to conjuer that badass sword for her to go crazy on her clan.

ngl this episode had me feeling EVERYTHING, sad then hyped, all in 30 minutes

Nick Bai

This season is so visually beautiful. You should check out some of the color scripts for each episode! Just an amazing adaptation!
