The Hug Wizard

I got one, what inspired Nerd and Jock? Was it a personal thing or did you just like the concept?

Howlin

Are we gonna have more Goth & Tiger adventure

JeffTShark

Will there be more comics of the knight and orc? Also will we see the parents of the cast from jock and nerd?

Alen

Are you going to make a comic about the future Nerd and Tiger or Goth and Jock getting married and having children?

Juan Pablo Ramirez

Are "Nerd", "Jock" and "Tiger" their real names? Or are there just nicknames? Also, do they have last names?

Alen

Do you have a future stories planned out?

Raul Rodriguez

Will Jock, Goth and Tiger be coming soon as Plushies? Also maybe plushies of Orc And Knight?

RobtheRobot13

What inspired you to make comics in general?

Samuel Millspaugh

How would Nerd and Jock be different if Nerd was more of a Geek than a Nerd?

El Espectador

What was the inspiration for the character design of the Nerd and Jock characters? Was there a reference art book or other artists works?

CartoonBudArtz

Any plans on ever making a nerd and jock animated series?

Themeguy

Between seeing the occasional Knight & Orc on Patreon, and seeing the old Alexa Lotl comics get reposted on Bluesky, I was wondering if you plan to revisit any of these worlds/characters a bit more in 2025 or if the focus will just stay on N & J.

I just made that first comic and it blew up, and I kinda worked from there, lol! I know it's not very exciting answer, but that's how it happened. Sometimes you just stumble on something good when you try different things.

Christian Natã Melo

Is there any chance of Queen be a human form of Xarhuul? I mean, she fancies Nerd, has its “minions” and even threatened Tiger…

Markocomics
>>160678400

There will be more Orc comics, when I have a good idea. But honestly my hands are quite busy with N&J and that's the series I want to work on most of the time, but time to time there's going to be some orc too. Not too often, but sometimes.

Markocomics
>>160678504

They're nicknames. They have real names (first and last) but haven't decided if I should reveal them, since then the mystery would be gone. Maybe when I come up with a story/joke about them.

ABtheButterfly

I wonder will we get a new male character not so much join the group but recurring like Queen. I know we have simp army

Sai Aiza

Are there actual names for Nerd and Jock, like how our Goth is Olga and our Punk is Tiger? More curious than anything. Sorry if that’s been asked before! ❤️ Keep up the great work! I’ve been following N&J since comic 15 or so and have adored the growth.

Markocomics
>>160678783

Jock is coming next (and quite soon), Olga and Tiger have entered the prototype phase. But I dunno yet when they'll be ready, this year most likely tho

ABtheButterfly

Does Nerd have some form of dwarfism

Markocomics
>>160678951

There wasn't really anything specific about them, kinda regular Nerd and Jock. Nerd's design was mostly inspired by Dexter from Dexter's lab and Arthur. Originally I was thinking about making Nerd's shirt yellow, but it was too close to Arthur so it became orange. Jock didn't really have anything specific I was pulling inspiration, he just kinda became what he is now lol

Novikous

What are some of your favourite comics?

Markocomics
>>160678878

Sorry I don't really know what's the difference between Nerd and Geek, I kinda thought they're similar

Rebecca Rivera

Would you ever do a comic with a wedding?

Markocomics
>>160678956

Not at this moment, if I would get approached by a good studio with a strong reputation, then who knows! I just don't know anything about animation or animation studios and how they work.

Markocomics
>>160678991

I've been thinking about rebooting Alexa Lotl alot (I kinda did it already) but haven't felt a strong urge to it, I think it has potential but I feel like I need to reboot it once again in some way.

Willfram

Zenetreus once used a dating app, apparently without success. Why not have Olga hook him up with Jock's sleep paralysis demon?

Markocomics
>>160680021

You mean like made by others? I like Dragon Ball, Don Rosa's Uncle Scrooge comics, Bone, tons of different manga (mostly shounen), I like lots of different things

Markocomics
>>160679597

I have some ideas, guys and girls. But the cast is already kinda crowded so hard to say, how they would fit... if it makes sense story-wise.

Tyler Baswell

Is there a reason why one of Tiger's eyes is always covered up?

Kurandore

I have real question, how are you doing in reality.

Miy Eterp

What's ya most funniest work?

Deezo

Are the characters for Nerd and Jock in highschool?

Jirka Šulc

Hi. What/Who inspired you to become a comic strip author???

Alonzo the Bucket_Lord

Have you considered doing a spinoff set for Queen's goons. They have that real goofy henchman potential.

RubyRouge

Is "Tiger" Tiger's name or is that like a nickname or code name? 🐯

Smitten Pizza

any new characters we will be learning about soon?

Ümit

Will we geht an Arc about them graduating?

Basic-Account

When tiger was worried she was putting on weight, nerd seemed able to read her mind. Is he telepathic, or just empathetic?

kingkrazy

Will queen get nerd. I hope not

Woopermann

what was your personal favorite comic to draw during 2024?

Nico Morales

Hi Marko, hope all is well with you personally and professionally. I just wanted to ask if at any point in the future, you plan on creating a recurring animal character for Nerd & Jock? I know there’s that shark who’s terrified of Jock and Tiger, but I was thinking more like a pet.

Jorge de Toronto

Hi, Marko! Love ur comics. Just like Nerd & Jock have a tag team attack "Demon Cannon Ball", do Olga and Tiger have one too that will be featured in the near future?

Markocomics
>>160685605

Funniest? Hmm, hard to say, I have made so many comics so it's hard to say... I really like the christmas episode with lil sally the bodybuilder.

Markocomics
>>160689190

I just really like drawing, mostly my childhood favorite comics like Garfield and Donald Duck comics

Markocomics
>>160692849

I'm not sure if they have enough character for that, I think they're supposed to be kinda same/clones of each other, except for Gregory

Markocomics
>>160696821

Nickname, probably given by all the gang members who wanted to fight her, because of her feral nature

Markocomics
>>160699644

Probably not, I kinda want to keep at the same age/time they're currently, kinda like cartoon-logic

Markocomics
>>160702032

At one point I was thinking about Jesus giving Jock a T-rex baby (if you remember that arc many years ago) but felt that it was too weird, although Olga has a cat called Belzebub, who has appeared in few comics. I guess I don't really have many "pet"-jokes, and all the cat jokes I can throw to Tiger, lol

Victor Ponce

Marko do you think you’ll ever have some people voice your comic in a platform like YouTube or even here on Patreon because as someone who wants to voice act I would love to see that happen in the near future Also continue with these amazing comics they always bring a smile to me and my best friends face

Markocomics
>>160709333

It kinda depends, those YT voice actors are their own thing, if I ever do something similar, I would probably go with full animation or something. But again it's something I don't really have much time to think about too much

Ragebomb36

Do any of the main characters have allergies?

PersonaLegends

What are the characters studying if they are in college? Like any particular degree for each of the 5 chrs?

PotatoDumplings_

Hi Marko ! Your comics are awesome! Will there be a giant cake episode with Nerd & Jock? 🤩

HarryBoyXD99

What were the inspirations for your characters? Jock, nerd, tiger and Olga?

CJ Trujillo

Could we possibly in the near future expect to see a 3 way Brawl between tiger, queen, and xarhull over nerd?

JT

Of the main four, who's the oldest? (my personal headcanon is from oldest to youngest, it would go Olga, Nerd, Jock and Tiger's the youngest)

Markocomics
>>160740872

I'm not really sure if or how I would bring Xarhuul back to the series, it was a idea I entertained years ago but right now I'm not so sure about it anymore

Louis valdez

Any interesting new story arcs for Nerd and Jock?

Caleb Jack

How many pounds does Nerd and Jock bench press?

Todd Donerson II

Are we gonna meet the parents of the group? Like nerds mom and dad or Olga, etc?
