Some time ago while pondering the details of J THEM THEY BOOK 2 I realized that there was no real need to hold back on my Monster/Horror art. One universe could envelope the other without too many wrinkles. It was actual children who insisted on this, then convinced me.

The thing about drawing—and especially coloring—monsters is The Devils in the Details. So. I like to take my time and work a deep tissue massage on all the filthy scummy bits and pieces.

So—for me—what you're seeing today is nowhere close to the finished piece. But I can't just spend six hours coloring anymore. Not without my oil can.
