Over the holidays I went out on a limb and gifted my brother an "experience" rather than a present. It was an opportunity to collaborate with me on a painting. He owns the original description/panel about the piece, so it's up to him if he wants to release that.

     I'm pleased to announce he loved the process. Hadn't done any creative work (of this kind) in many many years.

ALSO...

 ...When it was time to go back to Seattle I snuck this charm into his luggage, so that he'd have a reminder of the colors we once painted together.

The medallion is Cardboard, Papier-mâché, Acrylic, and (you guessed it) Varnish.
